Awesome toy!
Really impressed with this little gadget! I wanted an alternative to the expensive devices, with internet capabilities, downloadable aps, etc. Just something basic for my kids to play on, since they are young and don't need all the bells and whistles. I should have ordered a 3rd, for me, because I often find myself playing them as well. The games are great and bring me back to my childhood. Some of the games are too hard for my kids (4 and 7) right now, but they definitely have a bunch of easier ones to choose from and enjoy playing those. Lots of recognizable characters. As they get older, and develop better hand eye coordination and speed, they will be able to play the harder games, so I see these as something that can hold their interest for a long time. A $17, 150+ game system they can get years and years out of, with the nostalgic fun for me too? Couldn't be happier with this purchase! Its been about 10 days, and we haven't had to replace the batteries yet either! I assumed we'd go through tons, so that was a nice surprise. It also came with a cord to connect it to the TV screen, which I was not expecting, so that was pretty cool! Highly recommend this for the children (and adults) in your life!

Other than that I love It!
The only problem I have with this is the location of the reset button. When I try to go up my finger (thumb) hits the up arrow & the reset button at the same time & starts the game over.. Other than that I love It!

Simple and Awesome - Not all games are created equal though....
Very cool little handheld. It had all the major games I was looking for and my kids love it. When you review the list of games there are only about 30 you'll recognize or want to play. Most of the rest are obscure, reskinned classics, or Japanese versions of games that are fun for 10 minutes and then you'll never play them again. The ones you know are legit though and I've not had any issues with those ROMs.The screen is much brighter than I expected and I've gotten 4 hours out of my first set of batteries so far so that's a plus. For less than $20 this is a good value.The other cool thing is that some of the games like Contra come with mods built in so instead of trying to up up down down on the tiny pad it gives you the option when you boot to have 30 lives. The only thing to aware of is the size of this device. It's small. The screen size is about 4 postage stamps arranged in a square.

Very fun classic games!
My grandkids love this little handheld game! It has all the old classic games but they are new to today’s kids. Lots of fun and a great price! I reordered two more for other family members.
