This machine will faithfully deliver to your system all the information the artist and the producer intended, very musically. A moderate 12 hour burn-in period may be helpful. After that, if you are experiencing any harshness or edge, it is not from the Denon source - look further down your audio chain of amplification and speakers.This is not a machine for those wishing to stream music from the internet or wanting to deliver the music other than as a disc, such as by USB stick. Downloaded music will need to be burned to a disc.But, if you want to play CDs or SACDs, this is an excellent choice.

GREAT Receiver but a bit pricey. There are other makes and models that cost more, I am not sure if those are that much improved considering the additional cost.
