UGREEN USB C to 3.5mm Jack DAC Hi-Res 32bit/384kHz Type C Headphone Adapter

I bought this to use with a pair of fiio ft1 headphones with my phone and ipad (samsung s24+ and ipad air 4th gen) and it works fine with both, and personally the sound quality seems comparable to being wired in directly to other devices, without any loss or distortion etc (though I'm not an audiophile and everyone's ears are different, so ymmv).The adapter itself seems well made of sturdier plastic and metal than some others on the market, so I would say it's worth the slightly higher price point compared to the one without the hifi audio. Would recommend.

Really good Hi Res adapter. I've used it both on my mobile phone and my chrome book with no issues at all, music is crystal clear with a solid connection.I use it to stream Hi Res Flac files on the streaming service Tidal, which sounds absolutely amazing.Remember to use a good quality pair of headphones to connect to the adapter, failure to do so is like owning a SuperCar and putting water in the tank and expecting to win a race, not going to happen.It sounds fantastic, I can whole heartedly recommend.It may be twice the price of other adapters on Amazon, but like they say, you get what you pay for!

Works very well and provides clear and consistant quality sound to an amplifier or powered speaker. Recommended.Amendment:Some reviews indicated that this adapter stopped working, after a period of use, possibly due to the cable flexing repeatedly. As a precaution I put some black shrink tubing the length of the cable including a bit of each plug and socket. Then I put some larger red shrink tube overlapping the black tubing and the plug and socket. This has the effect of making the cable section bend in an arc from the middle, rather than sharply at the ends. Hope this helps.

I’ve been a HiFi geek for more years than I care to remember. Consequently, I have several DACs at home, including one quite expensive one. Also a range of headphones, some being high-end. When I saw this item on offer, I couldn’t resist, but had no particular expectations. A tiny device like this for just over a tenner?In the event, I was amazed. Used with appropriate cans (keep away from those 300 ohm current guzzlers!) - I used Sennheiser HD599s - they really impress. Indeed, they give the Dragonfly Red, at over 15 times the price, a real run for its money. Obviously, they are not quite as good, but the differences are fairly subtle. Plus, they are much smaller and more convenient to fit onto an Android phone than the more demanding Dragonfly.Note that although I have used them on both my iPad and my Samsung A54, when on the phone they automatically run USB Audio Pro (a paid app) in the background, which may partly account for their excellent audio performance.Still working superbly in May 2025.Just buy them…

Guys, I'm a maniacal fan of UGREEN so I'm more than a tad biased with their consistent intelligence, quality etc.But, no-one's perfect, let's be honest.Whilst this DAC does increase the sound volume and, in some real ways, "adds" to the sound experience, if I must be brutally honest, even given the cheap cost, it's not really worth wasting your time with this DAC and others of the same price level. Rather spend appreciably more and invest in a proper in-line DAC that significantly improves your sound quality / volume / etc.Simply not worth the effort with this cheapie.

Got it to use my favourite IEMs with my Fairphone 5.Build quality looks good so durability shouldn't be a problem and it's the same colour as my headphones cable.I leave is permanently attached toy headphones.

At first I was very happy with this device - used as an interface between a new-style android tablet with only a USB C connector - no 3.5mm audio connection - and my headphones.Until one evening recently, quite suddenly, I experienced a burst of stunning, deafening noise from the 'phones. I have tinnitus in any case, this did not help! Worse for several days after the event. Fortunately, as appears, there's no permanent damage done, I'm now back to 'normal'.I read that experiences of this kind aren't unknown using DACs and are usually triggered by electronic events of one kind or another external to the DAC itself. However - to quote Google AI:'Proper USB DAC design can absolutely prevent sudden deafening digital noise, often referred to as "white noise bursts" or "full-scale digital noise". This issue is rarely a fault of the USB protocol itself, but rather a failure of the DAC to properly handle ground contamination, USB power noise, or audio data packet loss from the computer.'I have previously had good experiences with UGreen products, I'd regard this as a premium brand but I feel bound to warn potential purchasers against this particular item in the strongest possible terms. Certainly mine is even now in the recycling bin.

Definitely makes a difference. Granted I’m comparing this to a grocery store gpx battery powered cd player, but still definitely makes a difference in sound quality and separation.Pair this with high res lossless audio, some koss kph headphones and you got yourself a budget friendly hifi system.

Good sound and value for the price. Be even better with higher volume output but enough to hook a phone to an amp

Has been an excellent product so far... had it for a while now and its been flawless. I had a few cheaper versions and some counter top "in a pinch" purchases. They all work but I ALWAYS had to have my volume maxed out to get results out of them... the electronics in this one is superior in every way. Clear, clean signal with no loss in output... always have lots of volume and clean output with this adaptor. Very happy with it and its still very affordable for how well it works for my needs. I need a wired connection for my work in corporate events as a hard wired connection to a sound system is a must.

Es hi-res y se escucha muy bien, hasta el momento no me ha dado algún problema de audio como sonidos raros ni nada de eso, se puede usar para audio dedicado en Android para bit perfect, sirven los botones de controlar volumen pausar y se pueden usar manos libres (micrófono integrado en los auriculares).
