UGREEN USB C to 3.5mm Jack DAC Hi-Res 32bit/384kHz Type C Headphone Adapter

Outstanding little tiny beast! Drives my EW300 IEMS at 50 percent of loudness on my Samsung S24 Ultra. Maybe it's just placebo, but I noticed some tracks started sounding more crisp and impactful. I did a comparison with the Apple USB C to 3.5mm Jack, and Apple sadly does not stand a chance. I would get really hushed unremarkable sound via the Apple. Could be due to the Apple compatibility. Duh. Anyways, I am really happy with purchase. But, if you want to power more impactful headphones like Sennheiser HD 600S for example, you may go for the MoonDrop Dawn Pro amplifier at 70 quid. I then get 50 percent more power from my phone.

I already have some Bluetooth headphones for use with my phone and laptop, which work fine. But sometimes I want to use my better quality wired ones for listening to music. Since most new phones no longer have a headphone socket, something like this Ugreen product becomes necessary. And you just plug it in and it works! Despite its compact size, it contains a DAC (digital to analogue converter). So instead of using the DAC built into the phone, which is what you use over Bluetooth, you use the one in this connector, which just plugs into the USB-C socket of the phone. Out of curiosity, I compared the same music using this with wired headphones against my Bluetooth headphones. And there is a subtle improvement, which, as much as anything, is probably the difference in quality between the two pairs of headphones. For watching video, the difference is less obvious. This connector works just the same when connected to a laptop, giving clearer and more detailed sound, but without needing to buy an expensive hi-fi branded DAC. There's the usual caveat: it cannot improve the quality of low-res or poor quality source material, but it can help you hear it better.

This is a good DAC, looks good feels more premium than the cost - but I’ve started to use a Fiio one which is louder.

I bought this to use with a pair of fiio ft1 headphones with my phone and ipad (samsung s24+ and ipad air 4th gen) and it works fine with both, and personally the sound quality seems comparable to being wired in directly to other devices, without any loss or distortion etc (though I'm not an audiophile and everyone's ears are different, so ymmv). The adapter itself seems well made of sturdier plastic and metal than some others on the market, so I would say it's worth the slightly higher price point compared to the one without the hifi audio. Would recommend.

Really good Hi Res adapter. I've used it both on my mobile phone and my chrome book with no issues at all, music is crystal clear with a solid connection. I use it to stream Hi Res Flac files on the streaming service Tidal, which sounds absolutely amazing. Remember to use a good quality pair of headphones to connect to the adapter, failure to do so is like owning a SuperCar and putting water in the tank and expecting to win a race, not going to happen. It sounds fantastic, I can whole heartedly recommend. It may be twice the price of other adapters on Amazon, but like they say, you get what you pay for!

I’ve been a HiFi geek for more years than I care to remember. Consequently, I have several DACs at home, including one quite expensive one. Also a range of headphones, some being high-end. When I saw this item on offer, I couldn’t resist, but had no particular expectations. A tiny device like this for just over a tenner? In the event, I was amazed. Used with appropriate cans (keep away from those 300 ohm current guzzlers!) - I used Sennheiser HD599s - they really impress. Indeed, they give the Dragonfly Red, at over 15 times the price, a real run for its money. Obviously, they are not quite as good, but the differences are fairly subtle. Plus, they are much smaller and more convenient to fit onto an Android phone than the more demanding Dragonfly. Note that although I have used them on both my iPad and my Samsung A54, when on the phone they automatically run USB Audio Pro (a paid app) in the background, which may partly account for their excellent audio performance. Still working superbly in May 2025. Just buy them…

I’ve bought this adapter four times, and unfortunately it doesn’t last. Amazon customer service were very helpful and replaced it each time, which I really appreciated. However, every adapter I received stopped working after around 2–3 weeks of use with my iPhone 15 Pro. The sound quality is good when it works, but I can’t recommend it because it simply doesn’t last.

The audio quality is good, but not audiophile quality. I connected this product to an iPhone 17 Pro Max. I used the device with both Meze Neo 99 closed-back headphones and Sony in-ear MDR-EX650AP Premium Wired Earphones with Brass Housing, Neodymium dynamic drivers, Smartphone Mic, and Control - Black/Gold headphones, and the listening experience was quite good, but nowhere near the quality of a FiiO K7 DAC/amplifier. It had sufficient volume without distortion, but I noticed less low-frequency response and bass compared with the FiiO K7. The audio lacked the richness and fullness I experienced with the K7. The DAC works adequately, but I suspect the amplifier does not provide enough low-frequency response. It seems there is a gap in the market. I wanted a high-quality product with excellent audio, but this is not the one if that is your preference. So I am disappointed with the product. I bought it to listen to music, but it works for podcasts and voice broadcasts.

Definitely makes a difference. Granted I’m comparing this to a grocery store gpx battery powered cd player, but still definitely makes a difference in sound quality and separation. Pair this with high res lossless audio, some koss kph headphones and you got yourself a budget friendly hifi system.

Good sound and value for the price. Be even better with higher volume output but enough to hook a phone to an amp

The audio works fine with this plug and my headphone button does work with it. I press it once and the music pauses. I press it twice and it skips to the next track. Works as expected.

ハイレゾ対応じゃなかった。この会社の別の商品から買いました。音質が明らかに良くなりました。また、この先の3.5ミリのピンジャックのコードもメーカーや、品質によって、出力される音の輪郭などが変わっていきます。全体を通していろいろ試されてみてはいかがでしょうか？

Llego rapido. El materia se ve resistente, lo que me gusto por que es como de cordon/Nylon trenzado. Al principio que lo puse no hagarraba, pero me di cuenta que tienes que presionar fuerte hasta que haga un clic.. Luego no se desprendera con nada. No hay falsa conexion, es fluido el sonido y se escucha de con buena fidelidad. Feliz con la compra. Lo recomiendo.
