Perfect for the mobile gamer!
This is the first backpack I have ever owned. I'm a big guy and always avoided buying a backpack because I didn't think I could get one that fit comfortably, and had all the features I wanted/needed.I recently bought my first gaming laptop. I'm a long time gamer, and a long time PC gamer. I've always built my own desktops, I thought gaming laptops were a waste, not upgradeable etc. Well they've finally reached a point both performance, and price, that I felt I can live with. And they aren't these massive hulking behemoths of yesteryear. My new unit is the thinnest, lightest laptop I have ever owned.I travel to video game related events around the country, and wanted to make sure my new laptop was well protected, especially while flying...as well as allowing me to carry all my needed accessories and protect them as well.Since I have never owned a laptop this nice, I'd always bought cheap cases from Walmart. I wanted something nicer. Holy crap I never knew there were SO MANY laptop backpacks available on the market!!! I looked at what felt like hundreds of cases/backpacks. Comparing features, price etc... looking for something that I thought was perfect. I saved quite a few for later scrutiny. One of them was the Mobile Edge Core MECGBP1 backpack. I kept doing head to head comparisons, and the Core just kept coming out on top. So I finally settled on it and put in my order.Once it arrived, I went over it... looking at the quality, making sure there were no manufacturing defects etc. In doing so I found a zippered compartment on the very bottom of the case, with a short strap and plastic clip on it. No mating part. I came back here and asked a question, and had it answered. There should have been a rain cover for the case in this compartment. Mine was missing. I did not see any mention of this cover in any of the documentation, so I'm glad I asked!I contacted Mobile Edge customer support vie e-mail. They got back to be promptly. I explained what my issue was, what I had been told I was missing...they were very prompt and courteous, and got my cover in the mail via Fedex and I had it two days later. You hate to have to contact customer support over a new purchase...but when you do, it's really nice to be treated like your issue is important, no matter how big or small. I made sure to let them know how pleased I was with the product, and the customer support. It's nice to see a company really stand behind and support their products!!!I'm giving this a 5 star rating across the board, it's not 100% "perfect", but it's about as close as it gets.My only issue, I wish the longer, bottom exterior pockets were a bit taller. It's a really tight fit to get a 16oz disposable water bottle to fit. I was hoping to get a double insulated 16oz refillable bottle to carry with the case. I found a 14oz bottle that should fit. Probably a non issue for most, and a very minor issue for me honestly, but that keeps it from being absolutely perfect for me.Once I was sure all of my gear fit and was protected as well as I had hoped... I went ahead and ordered a battery for it. I definitely want/need that for future flights...never seem to have enough time between flights to get my cell phone fully charged before the next flight. I bought the largest TSA approved battery I could find.I'm already looking forward to my first trip/flight with my new gear!!!

Worth every cent
I have literally spent years looking for the perfect computer backpack. I always have to carry a lot of paperwork with my laptop and power brick. Now that I have this bag, it holds everything and then some. I wish I could accurately convey just how big this bag is, but I keep two laptops and their power bricks plus my Nintendo Switch and its peripherals with several notebooks and all my associates field documents. Now that’s not to say it isn’t decently heavy when loaded down, but I can fit all my toys with my work materials when I travel. So far the quality of this bag has held up to the crazy amount of contents and weight I carry around. Then as a bonus, I love being able to personalize my bag with hook and loop patches. From movies to video games to travel destinations, I have made this bag my own with far too many patches. All in all I love this bag and cannot recommend it highly enough. It was worth every penny.

Room for everything!
I needed something for work and to hold my gaming gear. I went through three bags before I found this gem. First off: It's got a lifetime warranty, I read so many reviews on other laptop backpacks where the zippers would break. Now I don't have to worry. In the bag I have: Gaming headset in a case, MMO controller keyboard, Xbox Controller, Razer 15" laptop in a sleeve, Wired mouse, Apple Ipad Pro, a large portable charger (there's a nice dongle you can plug into so you can charge USB from the exterior of the bag). It's big, but it doesn't feel big when wearing or carrying. The handle is steel cable and feels very secure. It's a heavy duty ballistic canvas on the outside and the laptop compartment is well padded. Highly recommend.

Definitely larger then I expected
The backpack is definitely made from quality material. I like the hard front shell and there are plenty of different pockets for things. It’s definitely bigger than I thought it would be so it’s not for a minimalist that’s for sure. I was surprised to find a rain cover hidden in the underside of the bag in a zipper compartment. The only drawback i have on it is I’m using it as a commuter bag so a water bottle holder would have been nice but seeing as the bag is designed to carry electronics and whatnot i can understand the reason there isn’t one but anyway like I said I wish it was a tad bit smaller. All in all great quality bag let’s hope it lasts! So update: i don’t think i don’t think I’ve even had the bag for a month and the stitching on the strap is coming out. I honestly wasn’t expecting something like this with this bag. I don’t know but I’m definitely disappointed

Very Spacious
I'm probably one of the most technologically mobile persons you'll ever come across. I bought this in early 2019 because most backpacks were either too small or couldn't hold up long term. I always carry a 17-inch laptop AND a 17-inch external LCD screen. Both fit inside nicely inside the rear compartment. In the larger middle compartment I can also fit two 54K external batteries which allows me to work for 12-14 hours completely away from a power outlet. In addition to the above I can also store a couple of insulated 24-ounce thermoses. In the front I still have room for my headphones and lunch/dinner.I haven't even talked about the four smaller side compartments yet. The first I use for my wallet and phone. The second I use to store a mobile phone holder and mouse. The next is for various cables I might need. The fourth is basically a small mobile medicine cabinet to hold: chapstick, eye drops, aspirin, sunscreen, a few band-aids, etc.

The only backpack I trust with my electronic gear
I sometimes am forced to travel with a 3,000 dollars laptop and 1,000 dollar audio interface. The only laptop I would ever trust for such a task is this one. I bought one in 2018, and when I wore it out, purchased this same model. I tried others that were cheaper, as well as more expensive. This is the only backpack up for such a task.
