Nice addition to my cart
Great fit, easy to install. Nice for a short break between holes.

Bagboy seat (a real unbiased review from a tall guy)
I have no idea why other reviews mis-steer. To say the instructions are not clear is to say you can't read, didn't take the time to read or you don't understand pictures. One side is for a certain Bagboy and the other is for other types of Bagboy carts. I have a Bagboy Quad XL, it is old, definetly over 5 years and watch out not ten, bout when Sports Authority went out of business. As read in other reviews there are 2 brackets and an extension dependimg on which cart this is going on. If you have the quad xl, you will use the bracket that in not labeled "Volt" on it if that is how all of them are mfg by Bagboy. Couldnt tell you. Pop out 4 rubber plugs where bracket goes, picture is pretty clear as to how to place it. Install bracket and tighten, no magic there. Do a quick test and fold and close the buggy if it makes you feel better, there is no binding that should occur and closes flat as if there was no bracket there. Next take, build seat, 2 crews with nuts, look at picture for how seat is to be supported, the base plate is offset so even if you are not mechanically inclined and you see something offset maybe you should think to yourself as to why so look at the instructions if it is not apparent to you as to the direction that the seat gets installed in on the plate. When that is done if you have the XL, install the extension as instructed with one bolt and nut. The extension is directional so test it on the seat before you bolt it and take it all off as one piece, then bolt it together. Take off the seat and the cart folds without issue. To give you an idea on what you bought. I am 265#'s and 6'5". The seat holds me without issue and is comfortable enough to do what it is intended to do, "to get a load off", until.it is my turn to swing. It is not a Lazy-boy so don't expect that nor is it a bar stool either. So if you expect a solid stool then you are not realistic, it is a small pole that will support weight in a linear (up and down) direction without issue. If you want to start rocking left to right or back and forth you will eventually break something. It is not designed for lateral forces. You cannot have your XL break handle activated for it crosses the seat and you should not use this nowhere that it is not flat because of the base. The base has a good footprint, so it should not sink into the ground. For what it does and how it operates I think it is a little over priced as compared to Clicgear's seat if you had that cart. Bagboy should look at maybe bringing the price down some, but goodluck with that happening. I have a comfortable sitting angle and is comfortable to sit on, just have to be careful to not have excessive lateral movement, don't think it will hold beyond a predetermined point. Yes I would buy and recommend to push cart players, and I am looking forward to using it. Hope this is detailed enough to be useful as compared to other reviews I read before purchasing it.

Not very stable.
I installed this on my bag boy quad used for disc golf and tested the seat in my kitchen and entire cart lifted on 2 wheels. The support also didnt seem very sturdy to hold my 200lb frame and the seat wobbled quite a lot. I did not have an entire golf bag with clubs but I found this not usable if you are using for disc golf.

Something to sit on but the cart folds less.
Overall, it's great to rest your body and save energy many times during the rd, but... After attaching the mounting bracket to the frame, which the seat post slides into, the frame will no longer fold completely, only 1/2 way, so you need a bit more space to carry it. Also, the seat cover is adequate but not very durable. In my trunk, it was pressed up against a small screw head on my cart motor and it almost punched a hole thru the vinyl cover. Permanently marked/stretched now. May need tacky duck tape someday. It's waterproof but not very durable. I would buy it again, however. After almost 3 yrs of moderate use, it's still working fine.

Retinaman says overpriced but nice.
Finallly broke down and bought this seat to complement my bagboy cart. Its well made....it shhoulda cost maybe 60, but it was $100. too high......but at one time purchase I did it. I ve used this seat before and its made well and sits well. Dont, in a light rain, try to tow your cart in riding an electric cart.....the speed will out of control it and youll drag it and rip your seat cover and then it looks like crap from then own. Also as most of us has learned......literature mostly a waste.....it comes with multiple fittings for multiple cart models by bagboy....study this ahead lest you spend angst trying to get a mount to fit your cart that wont fit your cart. Im still walking at 76.....when things gett warmer I hope this seat will be a major resst help.. Make your 4 footers......later
