would it be suitable for a staffy cross

I can’t say for certain. It works on my spaniel but not on my sons jack russell. For the price though it is well worth a try

Battery is 4LR44 (6v). From memory the collar didn't come with spare batteries (just the initial battery), but battery type easy to get hold of (in store or via Amazon/EBay etc) and very quick & easy to change the battery.

Can I use it on a Yorkshire terrier?

Yes you can the collar is adjustable .

How do I switch it off??? It’s been over a year since I’ve used this- new dog, new batteries and only worked for two days.

I just take the battery’s out when Iam not using it
