It’s definitely large, but it’s also super lightweight. The oversized parabolic reflector provides a tightly-focused super-bright spot of illumination at the center of a wide circle of moderate light. If the high beam setting is too bright, just hit the button again to step it down to moderate intensity. It’s light and comfortable to wear as a headlamp, but also bright enough to be carried in your hand as a flashlight. The best use for this bright light is when walking or riding outdoors. Although the hands-free switch (you just wave your hand up near the light) is super convenient when your hands are a mess, you might find this light could be a bit too bright for close-in work (e.g., cleaning fish, etc.). The recharging indicator with four blue LEDs lets you know exactly where you stand with battery life.

* Overall Impression:-Note: There are several variations and styles in the listing, I'm reviewing the A106 Silver style head lamp.-It's an excellent value for the style, features, quality, in a larger sized, rechargeable head lamp that's very bright. It works well and the light is clear and bright and it projects like a good flashlight.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Excellent value for the quality, style and features.-Rechargeable, USB charging cord included. (You'll need your own USB friendly charging source or USB friendly electrical outlet plug in.)-Can be used as a power bank when fully charged with an USB cord to power or charge another smaller device such as a phone. (You can use the included USB cable or your own standard ended USB cable.)-Very bright light, it's a very strong light like a large flashlight. It's brighter than other ones I've used. It looks and feels like the light from a good, large flashlight vs a small head lamp during use. It’s not a small or short beam of light, but a large, wide strong one.-Head straps included to wear on the head or over a hat. Comfortable to wear, easy to adjust. You'll need to get your own hat clips. It will fit over a hat as it is, but some lights also have additional hat clips.-It can only be adjusted up and down vertically in the light angle. You can't swivel it left to right horizontally, only vertically.* Tips & Thoughts:-Note that this is a fairly large light. See the pictures and the measurements. It does have some outward protrusion and isn't flat, so keep this in mind if you need something for smaller, tighter spaces, it may stick out too far for some uses.-It does not have a color light (some headlamps do have a red light) feature.-It's fairly lightweight, and not overly heavy for the size and style. But it's not quite the lightest, I've used others that were lighter-but they didn't have the light power and strength this one has.

So there are two issues that I have with this head lamp, other than the fact that it took forever to arrive. The light is definitely NOT as bright as advertised. It is bright, but just not as bright as the image claims that it is. Then there is the headband, yes it is adjustable, but it seems as though it was designed for a child;s head and not for that of an adult, which appears to be the target audience. Overall, it is a good product that needs some minor improvements.

I have many headlamps of all size n shapes. This by far is larger than even my previous large lamp. Honestly this one's too big. It sticks out in my vision and is not very comfortable to wear. This one is all plastic and still heavier feeling than my big one made of metal. Very bright, very focused beam. Just big n bulky. Most of the size is just in the lense not bulb or electronics. It works good and is bright. Time will tell on longevity....

This High Power LED Headlamp Super Bright Adult Motion Sensor Rechargeable Headlight Spotlight Waterproof Outdoor Hunting Light A106 is the least expensive unit in the lineup. It is bright. It doesn't weigh much since it is all plastic. It doesn't come with a second battery like the more expensive models. The light beam is tight and shines a long distance for hunting. Even though this is the cheapest unit it still works as intended, it just isn't as bright as the more expensive ones and doesn't come with extra batteries. For the price if you need a light for hunting this cheap light should do well. I'd upgrade to the more expensive units if you have the money and need the light often. If you don't need the light often then the cheapest unit is great.It has two light intensity levels, high and low. It also has a blink setting so you can get peoples attention or flag down an alien ship for help if you get hurt while hunting. LOL

This headlamp is very lightweight. In fact, I doubted the ability of the lamp because of the weight. That was before I put it to use...this light gives off a beam that easily illuminates areas and reaches quite far. Standing in my yard, I can use this to see the tops of trees in a copse about 50 yards away.I also seem to recall having to constantly adjust heavier lights due to the weight and gave off a fraction of this lamp's lumens. Because this light doesn't carry unneccessary weight, I don't even know I have it on until I turn it on.Excellent light.
