Great knives. They aren't made of crap steel like most department store knives. They are shark and actually hold an edge.

I wish I had bought these earlier instead of wasting my money on cheaper sets! These knives are super sharp but fantastic. It’s been months now and they still don’t disappoint! I use these everyday. They making cutting and dinner prep a breeze! I have arthritis and struggle to cut things but not with these! I highly recommend these knives. They are a little pricey but worth it!

False Advertising. Knives are not made in Germany. Mine say made in Spain. Knives are sharp and of good quality

LOVE these knives. They are the sharpest knives I have ever used and they have stayed sharp since we have had them. I would recommend these to anyone from basic cook to chef!

We have wanted and researched all of the Henckels knives for quite sometime to get the best for our needs. After determining Zwilling Henckels (twin logo) were the way to go. This block set had the most knives we needed for our everyday use (both of us love to cook) and was the best value for our money. I would not consider it giftable because it does not come with steak knives and has 8 slots for knives but only comes with 7 knives which would appear to be an incomplete set if given as a gift. We already own non-serrated steak knives which we prefer and we will eventually purchase an 8th knife to fill all slots. For our own use, this set is awesome. I must say if you are not used to using and/or washing very sharp knives, use a lot of caution, your fingers will thank you. Mine did not fare so well in the beginning!

We love this brand, our first set has more than 20 years, finally one handle broke (my dad fixed it now) but husband decided to buy a new set, I'm very excited! I also recommend it to my best friend, she bought it and loves it. If you are looking for good knives,, those are the ones,, don't think twice, you will love it,, and the good thing, it will last more than 20 years with care.

Wanted to buy the forged knives but the affordable ones for me were made in China. Also forged is heavier so looked at the stamped which are made in Germany, a plus and they are lighter weight a big plus for over 70 hands. Read all the reviews and decided on the stamped 10 piece made in Germany, perfect. Read a complaint about the knife block slots being too large, they are just right for slipping knife in and out wouldn't want tight.
