Bought one blind to replace venetian blind in living room, grandson likes to climb over couch and breaks the slats. Choose this type of blind because you can "close" it like a venetian blind nd grandson has no slats to break. Let's plenty of light in, still has privacy. I bought this one first, liked its look and it made the room seem brighter and was good value compared to a new venetian blind I've replaced our other fivevenetian blinds. It’s light and easy to use. new type of blind .It does all functions , for daylight and night time use etc ..installing is a bit tricky as fittings requiring drilling holes that are too close too each other .
