Best rechargeable batteries available
Fantastic! The fact that these are 1.5V is a complete game changer, you are probably familiar with disappointment from “normal” rechargeable batteries not working for some devices. That’s usually because they are only 1.2V, these completely overcome that and work just the same as regular batteries

Why did I wait until now..

Batteries may take a couple of minutes to start flashing when charged.
I expect that when the four batteries are attached to the charging cable all four flashing green LED's will light to say that the battery is charging. Actually only three lit up and I assumed the fourth was defective. I was half way through the Amazon returns process when the fourth started flashing too. I now believe it is not defective. The instructions should say "allow 2 mins for the batteries to start flashing after you connect them to the charging cable."

What a Rechargeable battery should be
These look like the most successful rechargeable batteries I have bought. Fast easy charging via USB, LED display notifies you once charged and if they last as long as claimed this is a no brainer to replace standard single use batteries and reduce landfill waste. FOLLOW UP: NOT as good as I'd hoped within 7 months one of these batteries had died, one lot of cabling had yo be replaced and one set of D sized batteries had to be returned. A Real disappointment

UPDATE! Pale Blue contacted me, and I have received their latest generation of battery with a lifetime warranty. The new batteries are the correct size for my flashlights and are correctly retaining their charge. I am updating my review to five stars. OK, I will be honest. I bought these in 2022. I think that Pale Blue has discontinued the Micro USB version. Now the problem I have had. The outer diameter of the battery is too large to fit my flashlights. Other brands of Lithium rechargeable batteries work just fine. So I use these in my blood pressure monitor. They lose charge in a couple of months. Even after a charge, the monitor says the voltage is low. Two different brands of monitors report the same problem. I've used alkaline batteries without this problem. So the big question? Has Pale Blue fixed this problem with the latest versions? To recap. 1. Outer diameter is too large to fit in a space designed for for a standard AAA 2. Charge retention time is substandard compared to their competion. 3. Something is wrong with the amperage or voltage. Devices report the battery charge is low even after charging. Honestly, I rarely report a negative review. In this case it's warranted.

Pale blue definitely have the quality and I can't fault fault them. Just they are more expensive than the alternatives. Happy tho
