Review: Short & sweet ✨ - This novella delivered on everything I was hoping it would in such a short space of time! Coming it at less than 200 pages, this story was such an ease to read within one sitting and left me feeling giddy from beginning to end. As a fan of the rest of the series I absolutely adored this insight into the beginning of Maggie and Aiden’s relationship after loving their appearances in future instalments. Due to the shortness of the book there was definitely an element of ‘insta love’ between the pair, however I found that this in no way cheapened their chemistry and overall dynamic. The tension and suspense was tangible to the point that I felt as if I could reach into my kindle and grip it with my very hand. The spice scenes were written wonderfully and the continuous affirmation of consent and communication throughout was everything. If there’s one thing Chelsea Curto does beautifully is reaffirming that enthusiastic consent is sexy and important. The emotionally vulnerabilities explored between Maggie and Aiden were brief yet impactful, and I could’ve easily read a full-length novel on the pair as they battled their insecurities and found love within one another and within themselves. A beautiful and swoon worthy read that I genuinely wished had been longer, but wonderful all the same. Review: Wholesome vibes - Maggie and Aiden are strangers who agree to do a photoshoot together. Sparks Fly and the shoot turns into a night together, which grows into so much more. I ADORED this novella. I feel like I've been in a bit of a slump and this was like a warm hug to bring me out of it. Firstly, these characters were so real. Maybe it's because they were doctors (like me) but I just felt a really connection to them. I loved the descriptions of their bodies ('flaws' and all), and it was particularly refreshing to see a MMC who didn't have an eight pack. I loved the development of their relationship through the shoot and their night together. Curto gives a masterclass in novella writing, because nothing felt rushed or unrealistic. She also manages to give both characters backstory, somehow crafting complex beings in only 180 pages. Maggie and Aiden were so genuine and gentle with each other. Then the clothes came off, and MY GOD the spice was good. There's something about characters who are so wholesome, kind, and trusting, just letting go and indulging some deep desires together. It was hot AF. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this author has written!

A surprisingly steamy yet heartfelt novella
REVIEW *cw: mention of infertility* When Maggie's friend asks her to pose in a photo shoot with a complete stranger, the last thing she expects to have is an instant connection. But Aiden is everything she didn't know she needed. Both eager to explore the connection, they agree to 24 hours together. No strings attached. But will either be able to say goodbye? Wow! Talk about not judging a book by its cover! Tgis looks like a cute, sweet read and it is. But... I was NOT prepared for the heat in this book! Their chemistry was sublime and the intimacy was HOT. I particularly appreciated that Aiden wasn't the stereotypical male lead physically, and that he owned it. And that mouth! Did I mention how hot this book was? I really loved their connection right from the start, and how reassuring he was with Maggie. The praise kink was sublimely written. I loved Maggie. She was so relatable and I appreciated how willing she was to try new things. I also adored how respectful each character was with the other. As I mentioned, the intimacy was incendiary, but this novella has SO much more depth to it. Often in novellas, there's very little actual storyline, but here we really got to know the characters as people with complex emotions. I will definitely read more from this author! Overall Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤ Heat Rating: 🔥🔥🔥 Emotional Rating: 💓😂💔😉😊😉😍💓👏🏻🥰😍🔥😍🔥🔥🥰💓😍🔥💓💓🤦🏻♀️😢💔🙄🥰💓🥰

not for me. needed more of a story.
Maggie is a neurosurgeon who has been asked by her best friend to do a photo shoot for a new concept he has. Aiden is the other person who was asked and he just happens to be a doctor. They really hit it off at the session with Aiden wanting to explore the chemistry they have and Maggie agrees. They have a sex filled twenty h¡fours hours together with both saying it was one night only because their jobs were so busy. I just couldnt see two highly intelligent people doing the shoot in the first place and then it was pages and pages of sex.

New favourite Chelsea book
I am absolutely FLOORED by my love for this book. I've read all of the others in the series before this and each time the couple becomes my new favourite, but Maggie and Aiden have absolutely had a deep emotional impact on me. I'm sitting typing this with tears streaming down my face because it is just such a beautiful love story about soul mates. The way Aiden SEES her is absolutely divine and I cannot tell you how much better the world would be if every man was like that. Maggie's trust in him from the very first second gave me butterflies and I love that she was able to ask for what she wanted, finally. Chelsea......never stop.

I loved this short story very much! The characters are well written and the spicy parts are very enjoyable. What I liked most was that the mmc and fmc were just "normal" people with normal bodies. And I really enjoyed reading about a hight difference with a shorter mmc. You don't have that often and since beeing I am in a relationship where my man is shorter than me too, it was just really nice to have. I read it in one go and I'll highly recommend it to all of my friends.

Valeu a pena, ótimo tamanho e a leitura passa rápido.

Chelsea Curto delivers exactly as promised in this short, spicy but sweet novella. The main characters Maggie and Aiden are not looking for a relationship when they are inextricably drawn together after meeting as strangers on a photo shoot. Both characters are well established in their careers and have gone through tricky divorces so they make very considered decisions. It was really refreshing to be introduced to such mature characters and I really appreciated Curto’s writing style in portraying an older but still relatable couple. (That is to say ‘old’ compared to college romance characters who are so popular atm… Maggie is 34 and Aiden is 45). We also see this in the way their bodies are described during the spicy scenes, and I think it makes them all the more real for their lack of hard plains and abs. Of course the spicy scenes were still flaming hot as I have come to expect from Curto 🪭🥵🔥. Although I would have loved to stay with these characters longer, the story does feel complete as a novella and sets up the rest of the Love through the Lens series well (this is book 1). I would definitely recommend going back and re-reading this novella if you started the series part way through.

Veio em boas condições. O livro em si, é bem curto, lê-se em poucas horas, mas atenção que tem várias cenas 🔥
