Nice humidifier, night light broken after less than 15 uses!

Edit #2: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I've had 2 of these crap out on me. It works for a few months and then, for no apparent reason, it quits. Very disappointed. I was initially quite impressed with this little machine, it quit working exactly 3 days after the return window closed!! I have done all the little troubleshooting things it says to do, (cleaned the little mister with a cotton swab and alcohol, tried new filters, etc.) and it just won't mist. I can actually hear it trying, and the nightlight still works... But... *Initial review: We used it for traveling; especially when visiting family out west (and almost all hotel rooms are like little arid deserts). I did find out (after having a "pooling" issue) that plain, tap water is best... (the instructions say don't use distilled water). The one thing I don't particularly like is the filter business... I would have preferred to have one without a filter. And there's no guideline as to how long each filter might last. Otherwise, it's a good little humidifier for the money.

I love the size. This is perfect for my office, it helps me prevent nosebleeds.

Works very well

This is a great little desktop humidifier. There's just enough water in the reservoir to put moisture in the air for a full workday. I got a new office and it was so dry I was getting bloody noses. This sits on my desk and keeps the office moist even with the door open all day.

I only use this little humidifier at night so while I'm sleeping my skin doesn't mummify. It works well for that purpose. It's not meant to be a large space humidifier. I don't use the light function. The only downside to this unit is that the mist doesn't rise very far and it doesn't evaporate before it settles, so it does dampen the furniture it's sitting on. I had to move the humidifier off my wood nightstand and onto a plastic crate covered with a dishtowel to alleviate that problem.

This is a small humidifier that was purchased for traveling. Plug it in after air travel, in a hotel room, or a ship cabin to breathe better. I plan to purchase another one.

Hard to make it work. It has to be plugged in with a very short cord. I don’t know where it would be useful.
