How high is the step please from the floor?

I would think about 4-5 inches. I have found it just right for me. I actually keep it in my car in case I go somewhere thar needs a bit of oomph. I originally bought it as my daughters house has a very steep step, not fully recovered from a broken leg I needed a little help.

I wouldn't advise stacking because of balance issues however I have not tried!!

I have no idea, sorry, but it works a treat for getting my old and arthritic dog into back of the car.
