DEPSTECH 2K Endoscope Camera with Light, Dual Lens 2560P Phone Borescope

This endoscope works great and at a great price! I had Depstech's earlier unit that came with its own screen and it worked well and when it stopped working and called to see if they could repair it, they promptly replaced it, so the customer support is very good. So when I found out they had a version that plugs into my phone at this price, I jumped on it. This unit was easy to start up and use on both my android phone and on my Ipad and the images are very sharp. The coolest feature is that with your selfie button on your phone, it toggles between the forward facing camera and a side facing camera! This is a good way to look into tight places, like under the house or inside a stuck garbage disposal or down any pipe that you need to inspect. This image was taken with the Borescope.

Great endoscope, excellent live video resolution and field of view, no lagging. The light works perfectly and I love that you can adjust the brightness, this is very important in many cases! I also love that the brightness dial is right there on the line for you, so I don't have to go into app settings or fumble around with my phone to adjust. The wire is easy to maneuver once you get a feel for it and it will go anywhere! Also a huge plus, Depstech has THE BEST customer service as I have had to contact them about a previous product. This is a high quality well built product that works as expected. I'm impressed and would recommend to anyone looking for an endoscope cam. The price is very reasonable as well, a great value.

This Endoscope I seen on Amazon for approximately $30 and I needed one for a project I was working on. I am an Electrical Engineer who needs to see in some pretty tight spots all the time. I thought to myself for this price it will at least help me with my project so I can finish it. I pretty much carry my cell phone all the time and use it constantly for different tasks so I thought this would be perfect. No complicated system to try and figure out with a lot of buttons or big video screen to deal with. I received the unit and I was sure wrong on a lot of levels. This company made a brilliant product for around $30. You already have and use your cell phone everyday so they just added a great new product you can use with it. The features and the clarity of the pics and videos is amazing. You can zoom in several times, you can shut off the color mode for even more clarity, sharpness, etc.... You can take pics or video as many as your space will allow on your phone. The Endoscope is water proof, it has multiple camera views which is easy to use along with all the other features in the downloaded app. This product with all the features and the amazing pics and videos it creates would cost a lot more but this company obviously has some very talented people working there that can create such a great product. It has features such as if you get into a really tight spot you can turn the pic/video by software if you can't manipulate the actual Endoscope camera itself, you can go from viewing the field in front of the camera to the field on the side of the camera by switching camera views on the software, and you can even dim the Borescope LED lights from no brightness to full brightness. I can find a lot of uses for this type of product and it was very inexpensive. I would definitely give this product 5 stars all the way. I also hope that Depstech continues making other great inexpensive products that will help the consumer.

Works

Exactly what I needed to chase down a plumbing leak in a finished wall. The cable is semi-rigid, which is great, I was a little worried that it would just be a regular cable. The camera has enough display resolution, and there are two cameras in this endoscope, on the end and on one side. This really helped when moving it inside a wall cavity. There is also adjustable brightness, so if you get close to something you aren't completely washing out the image. This worked just fine with my iPhone 17 Pro Max, the phone automatically prompted me to download the app for this camera. Good enough for my needs.

Very high quality compact borescope. Very easy to connect to iPhone, no delays, no issues at all. Picture quality is super sharp and way better than I expected!! I also have another depstech model with a bigger external screen. Love it, but this model has even better image quality even though I’m just using my iPhone. Cable is flexible and long enough to reach pretty much anywhere inside a wall. Overall it’s compact, simple, and works great. I end up using this one more often now.

Tried to get this working on 2 iphones, 12 and 16, both with the lastest update. Camera lights up but is never detected by the software, uninstalled software, turned off phone, installed software again, same result. Going to try a friends android phone but I doubt it will work with it either. Will probably be returning and getting something else. I really wanted this to work but doesn't look like it's happening. Will get a different brand. Update: Tried on a new samsung android phone, still won't connect. Going to return it and try to find something else.

I now also need to connect a microphone to the camera. By know it would be an easy task.

Excellent tool. Got me out of a few sticky situations. Very good value for money. Pro or DIY, I would highly recommend this tool.

This endoscope arrived in a sturdy, branded cardboard box. Inside, the endoscope and all of its accessories are stored in a high quality hard case. The case contains: • The endoscope. • Phone bracket. • Magnetic and hook pickup tools. • USB-A to Micro USB phone cable (30cm). • USB-A to Lightning (Apple) phone cable (30cm). • USB-A to USB-C phone cable (30cm). • USB-A to USB-C charging cable (80cm). • Instructions. When the device is charging it has a red LED that turns green when fully charged. This LED also indicates power on and low charge level. The phone bracket is all metal and clamps onto the phone using a thumbwheel (rather than a spring) and it holds the phone securely whilst in use. You have to download the ‘Depstechcam’ app from the Android Play Store or Apple App store to use the device. Once your phone is connected you can take pictures and videos, switch the lights and change between cameras with the conveniently placed buttons on the endoscope which allows for one handed control whilst you guide the camera with the other hand. The endoscope has three cameras (A, B and C) and a press of the power button changes between them. You can have any of the cameras as a single view or a split screen with the main camera and either of the side cameras. The attached test video shows the view from cameras A and B down a sink drain. You can’t change the camera view whilst recording. Videos and pictures are recorded directly to your phone and there’s no local (SD card) option. I’m into classic motorbikes and the three cameras mean you can check the piston crown and the cylinder bore easily just by inserting this through the spark plug hole and this is so much easier than trying to twist a standard endoscope around to see the bore. If you don’t need the facility of the side cameras Depstech also do an endoscope that is self contained (no phone needed), has a longer cable and is significantly cheaper (https://amzn.eu/d/2aoshwt) so you may want to consider this. This is a well made device that gives excellent images and being able to easily flip between the three camera views is incredibly useful in certain situations so I’m giving it 5 stars.

Très bien conçu, je l'utilise avec un Samsung S25, l'image est au top et la rigidité du câble est bien pratique pour arriver aux endroits spécifiques. La deuxième camera en angle est très pratique également, elle se commute avec la fonction selfie. Elle vaut largement son prix qui peut paraître chère.

Cet endoscope est clairement un cran au dessus du précédent que j'avais pu tester de cette marque il y a longtemps 🙂 📦 La livraison est impeccable avec l'endoscope et ses accessoires rangés dans une housse de transport elle-même dans un coffret de livraison de bonne qualité. 🎮 Le boîtier de commande de l'endoscope reprend le format d'une console de jeu ce qui est une plutôt bonne idée pour le confort en main et l'écran est de bonne qualité 👍 La caméra endoscope quand à elle est en fait une caméra USB-C qui se connecte au boîtier et possèdes des capteurs vidéo de chaque côté du tube en plus des LED d'éclairage. C'est de bonne qualité de fabrication, d'image, facile et intuitif à utiliser bref c'est un bon produit je trouve 🙂
