Works well, worth the price.
This works well an is worth the price. I use it with my Chromebook and with two different Android tablets. Its not magic, but it definitely sounds better with this device connected than without it. I usually use it with $100 to $125 headphones.This device seems of good quality and I've never had a problem with connectivity. Overall, it does what I expected it to do. Last thought are to say that its very small and lightweight.

Returned, 2nd is good
The 1st Ugreen high resolution adapter I received produced background noise after hooking it up. I did a quick A-B comparison and the adapter was definitely bad.The 2nd one that I received a few days later sounds great, definitely better than my old plain adapter, and no background noise. Would have been 5 stars except for my trouble.

Does not improve sound in anyway, move on.
There isn't much that I would put in the Pro column with this DAC. It did work on my Phone, Tablet and PC. However the sound quality was to be desired as the it added bass and muddied the overall sound even when compared to the standard headphone output. What is worse, it barely had to power to drive my AKG K240's which are not even power hungry. It does get slightly warm even when used for even a short time and does add a drain to your battery usage so be aware. I can not think of any reason to purchase this unit as other options are readily available.

A bright sound signature one
The build looks fairly solid to me, basically a plug-and-play dongle.How does it sound? This dongle has a bright sound, it is not necessarily a bad thing because it is completely on your preferences whether you want a warm sounding one (this one is not for you), or a bright one.Personally, I like how it sounds because I prefer bright sound.Technically, I still think the cymbals is a bit too emphasized to the point it becomes artificial, so this may annoy you if you're sensitive to it or you prefer something natural or neutral.Otherwise, it is a really really good one. Especially for what it can do and what it actually costs.I give it 10/10, highly recommend.I will continue using this till it gives up to give an update to this review.
