As advertised. Good sturdy product.

These worked great. One issue screws were too soft to put into oak, should come with stronger screws, but the product works great. I purchased stronger screws.

As a professional contractor, the quality of these are mediocre at best. The correct number came in every box, I bought one count of the angled and 3 counts of the bases.First thing I noticed, all of the set screws were painted in the open position. When the screws are “set in”, on the ones I could get to set anyway, you can see a silver metal circle of unpainted material because the screws recess all the way in on the posts that are specified for this product.Out of 180 shoe pieces ordered here, about 170 of them did not strip, and I caught hell trying to get them to even get snug let alone tight.The shoe itself is a fine product, but 9/10 of the function is the set screw and that’s the biggest flaw with the entire product.

These made putting my new balusters in very easy. I didn't have to drill any holes. The only thing is they rattled a little bit. I just put a bead of silicone in each one and that stopped the rattle.

Renovations are always nerve wracking, especially when done in a 116 year old house! After finding spindles we liked, I was tasked with finding shoes that wouldn’t break the bank. After looking at multiple brick and mortar stores, I thought the wrought iron spindles were out of the question due to price. Amazon was my last ditch effort, and apparently I should have started here! I was worried about the look considering the price difference. These look and work great! There were a few that had a stripped “bolt”, but we just glue them in place with construction adhesive like we did with the spindles. Easy to install, and a great price!

These do what they are suppose to do given 3 stars because the balusters wobble inside of them.

If you are using half inch balusters on an sloped run, like a stair stringer, you need these swivel shoes. You can accommodate a wide range of pitches, and solidly anchor the ends of your balusters. I have an open sided stairway, and am adding balusters and a railing for safety purposes. These Langdoly swivel shoes are designed to easily accomplish a professional installation without drilling through either surface, top or bottom.
