This isn't too harsh of a cleanser at all, which I sometimes worry about whenever I see papaya enzymes. I try not to use this on a daily basis but there were times when I used this several days in a row and it did not irritate my skin. This has a very gentle exfoliant, a very fine sand like things in this that exfoliates the skin, nothing harsh at all like you would see in many products that say "exfoliator". If you add a bit of water it will dilute it even more if you prefer even milder effects. There is no stinky scent like you get with many enzyme/BHA type products. I am happy with this cleanser, great to have in the shower for a bi/tri weekly maintenance for glowy skin.

I really like that this cleanser has a very light and gentle exfoliation effect. The beads aren’t too harsh but also make my face feel clean. There’s not a lot of scent or fragrance which I appreciate. I do wish the formula was a little thicker, it’s on the runny side.

At almost 45 years old, im willing to try anything to avoid getting any cosmetic procedures done. In order for the expensive creams to work, you need to exfoliate the dead skin cells off. This face wash does just that. It gently removes dead skin cells. I absolutely love this product!

This face wash was something I was excited to try and add to my skin care routine, but it will likely be the item that sits in my shower untouched until my other products are gone and I haven't purchased something new yet -- the smell is not great!! It smells very plastic-like or chemically based, which I don't like. I have used it a couple of times b/c I want the exfoliation, but I have determined that I just can't deal with the scent, so I won't be using it again. The exfoliating component is very small (micro), and it does feel good on my skin. I did not emerge from the shower with dry skin, so I think the hydration also is valid. I'm disappointed about the smell, though.

Gentle, smooth cleanser has a very pleasing scent. Does not burn my skin or eyes. Leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. Good ingredients, water based. Tube is easy to take for travel. Pairs nicely with a mild moisturizer. I would recommend!

The Coco & Eve Fruit Enzyme Cleanser isn't what I would describe as fragrance free as I detect a smell to it of something. It isn't unpleasant it's simply what I've noticed using it. It has a slight exfoliating feel but very minimal I'd say. I can feel tiny particles mixed in with the cleanser but they are not proportioned in equal balance where you overly notice them. I didn't feel that the cleanser was drying and I'd say gentle enough to use even daily actually. As far as moisturizing that wasn't necessarily something I'd use to describe it. It cleanses well and doesn't strip your skin of it's natural moisture which is a plus.

I have slightly oily skin and this facial cleanser works great for me. It is mildly exfoliating with a slight fragrance. Overall I enjoy the way this cleanser feels on my skin.

I gifted the Coco & Eve Fruit Enzyme Cleanser to a friend with oily skin, and she absolutely loves it! This water-based cleanser is gentle yet effective at refining pores, exfoliating, and moisturizing her skin. The papaya enzyme and BHA work together to leave her complexion looking radiant and smooth. She also appreciates the addition of prebiotics and vitamin E for extra nourishment. The only downside is that the scent might not be for everyone - it has a slightly tropical, fruity aroma that some may find overpowering.

Really like this cleanser. I don’t use it everyday but it exfoliates gently.

I really like this face wash. I would recommend this to use only every other day as it has little scrubby particles in it, which are great for making my skin feel nice and smooth. Used too often and my skin can get a bit red, though. My face feels lovely, soft and clean after using this. It has a nice scent and is a big tube so will last a long time. It’s a bit on the expensive side but I would say it’s value for money as it doesn’t dry my face out and I haven’t had any breakouts with this.

Really nice cleanser that leaves your face feeling smooth and clean perfect for moisturising. Would recommend!

This is a beautiful cleanser for my face. It leaves it feeling fresh, clean and hydrated. I've used it a few times after removing my make-up and it does a good job in removing any residue. I have quite dry/sensitive skin and this hasn't caused any issues. My skin seems happy!It's a little pricey at £19, but Coco & Eve do seem to consistently make good and reliable products and this is one of them.

This is a lovely cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and soft. It has a slightly gritty feel for exfoliating the skin too. It has a very subtle fragrance that is light and pleasant.I have quite sensitive skin but I’ve had no problems with this at all.
