Dexnor for Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ Plus/S9+ Plus/S9 FE+/S7 FE Keyboard Case

I always do thorough research before making purchases, and this case was no exception. I debated between this product and the official Samsung keyboard extension for my Samsung Tab S9 FE+. Initially, I was a bit sceptical when this keyboard arrived, mainly due to the feel of the faux leather. However, my opinion quickly changed once I started using it. Pros: Keyboard Feel and Functionality: The keyboard is fantastic to use. Unlike some keyboards that have an odd feel, this one feels great to the touch. It may feel slightly cramped at first, but it becomes very intuitive with use. Backlighting: The backlighting is superb, with different colors available for customization. It’s a great feature that adds to the overall usability, especially in low-light conditions. Sturdiness: The base of the keyboard is extremely sturdy. Unlike the official Samsung keyboard, this one does not have a back stand, and this case pushes the tablet closer for a better viewing angle. This design also means it doesn’t require a flat surface to rest on, making it usable on your lap like a true laptop. Portability: This keyboard has significantly enhanced my tablet's usability, especially while traveling. It works perfectly on my knees or lap, unlike the Samsung keyboard, which requires a flat surface. Massive use case for me here. Battery Life: The battery life is impressive. I’ve used it extensively and even accidentally left it on overnight once. I haven’t had to charge it yet. S Pen Groove: There’s a groove in the keyboard for the S Pen, making it convenient to store and reducing the risk of losing it during travel. Magnetic Attachment: Initially, I was concerned about potential magnetic damage from keeping the tablet in the case for prolonged periods. However, after extensive research and personal use, I found there’s no significant risk. Cons: Faux Leather Feel: I’m not a huge fan of the faux leather material, but this is a minor issue compared to the benefits. Trackpad Responsiveness: The trackpad is not the most responsive. It’s usable, but not as smooth as I’d like. It’s a small downside compared to the overall functionality of the keyboard. Conclusion: Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. The extensive benefits, especially considering its price compared to the Samsung keyboard, far outweigh the minor cons. It’s a fantastic addition to my Samsung Tab S9 FE+, making it much more versatile and enjoyable to use.

This is an excellent piece of kit which is easy to open and ready for use in seconds, unlike my old tablet case which which had to be folded in the correct way to enable it to stand at a fixed angle. The Dexnor case provides the ability to adjust the angle of the tablet to suit your working position. The keyboard provides both a positive and negative aspect, the positive being that it does away with loosing half the screen when using the on screen keyboard, the negative being the added weight of the combined case and tablet. For me the negative is far outweighed by the positive. The keyboard is well laid out and the keys provide a nice positive response when pressed, the keys are backlit for use in dark environments.

This is review is also a first quick test of the new DEXNOR keyboard for mt Samsung Tab S8+ My intended use case is to take this combination on my holiday, in case I need to provide incident support for my job, without needing to take a laptop too. Pairing went very smoothly. The backlight seems effective, but I'm typing this in daylight in a well lit room. Will be more impressive in the dark. The keyboard backlight is RGB but I've not yet found how to change the colours. RTFM I guess. [FN + ENTER buttons change the backlight colours] The manual is very good - just make sure you're looking at the UK not USA picture! In terms of features, such as switching between applications, swiping the touchpad, etc. it really does make my Samsung Tab S8+ feel like my Dell XPS 13 laptop. Just some keys in different places, but if you've ever used multiple devices you'll know what to expect. It's just a little muscle memory to overcome. Feels stable, and was comfortable when on my lap in bed. Overall, I am very impressed. Yes, it adds an extra ~0.5Kg weight, being ~ 980gm vs 435gm for my old case, but overall feels on par with my laptop.

This keyboard case transformed my tablet into great little laptop alternative. It looks premium and the backlit keyboard is excellent. Unlike other reviewers, I had no problems with the touchpad, it worked fine out of the box. Be warned, it is very heavy - presumably deliberately to counter the weight of the heavy tablet and helps to keep it stable. It makes the setup weigh as much as a full laptop though. It connects quickly, there is no lag with the Bluetooth. Pen can be stored outside or inside case. The negatives are, the on/off switch is tiny and a bit fiddly to use. I can't see a way to monitor battery levels (the OS doesn't read it). It does collect fingerprints badly! Finally, I notice my base is warped / bent. It doesn't affect usage, but once you've seen it you can't 'un-see' it. I can't bend it flat (I tried). These are minor issues however, it is a decent product and I'm pleased with it overall.

I am surprised given the reviews on this product, but my product is faulty and I cannot return as I am 5 days past my returns window. It is an expensive keyboard and I was very happy initially, the design is solid, magnets work well and the style of the keyboard is great... but I have barely used the keyboard and space bar is "sticky" meaning it doesn't always work. I would be happy for the provider to contact me so we can discuss this further.

Great keyboard for smasung tablet, back-lit keys really useful, holds charge well and the hinge is solid and works really well. Quite heavy but would expect that given the solid construction

While I am somewhat satisfied with this keyboard there are a couple of big problems with it. I like the floating screen and the keyboard and touchpad. They key travel is very satisfying and it is sturdy and robust. The Samsung shortcuts work well but the two main issues are: 1. The weight - my Tab s 9+ feels as heavy or heavier than a laptop when it's in this case. I end up leaving it at home when I'm travelling and using the much lighter Samsung book case, which defeats the object. 2. The super-sensitive touchpad. I constantly find it sends my cursor to random points on the screen while I'm typing. I'll start a sentence at the bottom of the page but I might finish it almost anywhere, depending on where the slightest touch might have sent me. Fortunately I can turn the touchpad of, but that defeats the point of buying this too.
