A blind girl named Anima lands on a mysterious island overlooked by a giant oak tree. Although she cannot see the incredible creatures that dwell here, she perceives better than anyone the magic that permeates this enchanted realm. This narrative tarot deck mixes real and unreal, fact and fiction, creating a fascinating adventure recounted. This deck reveals the answers to your greatest questions through Anima's adventures. It also features a premium box with a lift-top lid. Review: Sooo gorgeous! - So i got these as a bday present. And i am so glad i did. They are simply gorgeous. The color and the whimsy of them... they will be faves for sure. The art is spectacular, my kudos to the artist. I do kind of agree with another commenter that the sword court cards are kind of weird in that they are runes or monoliths. But in no way, shape or form is that a dealbreaker. I saw them before I ordered it, and I still ordered it, because I could not resist. This deck stands above and beyond. The stock is really nice, perfect thickness, not flimsy at all… they are matte finish and glide so nicely when shuffling. The edges are gilded with silver, which I love… And to top it all off, it comes in one of my favorite types of boxes (a standing box with a small lid at the top... they just display so much nicer than most boxes. I wish more cards had this type) But I would expect no less from Lo Scarabeo… I have never been disappointed with a deck that came from this publisher. One of my faves. Review: A Magical, Underrated Gem Full of Forest Spirit - Under the Oak Tarot is so underrated. I think it’s an absolutely magical deck. The story of the little girl is so beautiful, and the way each card is illustrated—it’s colorful yet set in the night—you really get the feeling of being in a magical forest. I never got that from the Darkwood Tarot, but this one? It’s like watching an animated movie unfold, scene by scene. The art truly comes alive through its use of color, and the deck carries this enchanting, forest energy. Every time I work with it, it feels deeper than before—it really speaks in layers. The cardstock is a matte linen finish, I think—I’m still learning to identify finishes—but it’s absolutely beautiful to the touch and shuffles like a dream.

A Magical, Underrated Gem Full of Forest Spirit
Under the Oak Tarot is so underrated. I think it’s an absolutely magical deck. Beautiful deck
I don’t know why a review on another deck (that was bad) was added by default to this one, weird. Anyways, beautiful deck. Love the colors & it’s actually a FULLY illustrated deck, meaning it’s not pip 😌.

Beautiful deck
I bought this deck after seeing a flip through of the cards and I'm so glad I got it. PROS: - Card quality is pretty good, not thin but not super thick to where you can't shuffle them - Beautiful illustrations - Easy to read with - Nice storage box CONS: - I, personally, prefer linen textured cards, but that's a minor complaint and a personal one Honestly, there's very little I can say negative about these! They were a definite winner.

Inner sleeve in box detached
The last two lo scarabeo decks I've bought both had loose inner box sleeve. It came out when i open the decks and spilled cards everywhere. This deck has solver gilding that got damaged, and the first card, which was only an extra advert card, when this happened. Users beware. Other than the poor box construction, I like the deck. The silver guilding is softer, not too thick and chunky so it doesnt chew up my skin. The deck shuffled nicely. The cardstock is decent but very matte and a little grainy feeling. I hope that smooths out. The colors are my favorite part. I'm not a huge fan of the cartoony style art but I like the colors and imagry/symbolism and story enough that I've been able to look beyond that. Overall, a nice deck except for poorly made box.

Gorgeous but not RWS based
The art is gorgeous! The guidebook is just like every other Lo Scarabeo. The only issue for me is that the art is not that easy to understand. The card stock is amazing! I still gave it 5 stars because the issue is very personal, I just didn’t get some of the images. I would have loved that the guidebook was kind of a story so it would be easier to understand the characters. But again, this is a very personal issue

Artwork is beautiful
The cards are beautiful and easy to connect with if one is prepared to some discrepancies with the traditional RWS system. In my opinion, it leans more to the paganism-goddess new age theme

Die-Cut Error & Severe Quality Issues
Very disappointed. This supposed to be a great deck. The first sign the advertisement card being misaligned, which I initially thought might be an isolated issue. I then found a stained card, followed by slight misalignments, visible fold and press marks on several cards, which made me realize that many card corners were bent. The most serious issue was discovering that two cards (front & back) were not die-cut properly and shows part of another printed artwork at the bottom. The prints are also not as vibrant as shown in the photos taken or product images. Hope the publisher sees this and improves their quality & control.

First class new Lo Scarabeo card stock
The card-stock is brilliant. Soft and scratchy; the perfect aural/tactile experience. Attractive images kind of on the cute side but the feel of this deck in the hands is well worth it.
