Wish i had bought one years ago , Our one is under cover in the porch, the PIR works well when opening the door to go out and comes on when approching the door from the outside , No more trying to look for the keys or door lock to let ourselves in ! The 30 second light on gives you plenty of time and it is nice and bright too , I cannot comment on the Longevity as the bulb was only fitted a few weeks ago but by the look of the item and considering it only stays on for a short while it should last a long time , we bought a 2 pack so we have a spare if we ever need it

Had these for about 3 weeks now. I put one in the entrance hall and this works perfectly. Comes on exactly when you want it to. The other one in on the landing at the top of the stairs and I have mixed feelings on this one. The amount of motion to trigger it varies considerably. Sometimes just walking by the bottom of the stairs is sufficient. Sometimes you need to be near the top of the stairs to trigger it which can mean you need to go up most of the stairs in the dark. It also comes on when it is far from dark which is a problem for a place that gets little or no direct sunlight.

I am using the light bulb for a walk-in pantry. It seems to work better at night than in the day: during the day the light will come on as I move right underneath the ceiling lamp, but at night, it comes on as soon as I open the door.With old habits, I keep switching it off as I leave, but the switch should remain on to allow the light bulb to detect movement and come on.I’ve had it for a week so I cannot comment on longevity.Once there is no movement detected at all, it takes 30 to 40 seconds to switch off.I’ve thought of using it for the bathroom but as I shower for more than 40 seconds behind the curtain, it would probably leave me finish my shower in the dark until I’d draw the curtain again to let it detect movement again.Perfect for dark places where you need light and where you know there will always be movement while you need the light on, like stairs, attic, walk-in wardrobe, pantry ir garage. Just make sure the detecting bud on the light bulb is not obstructed by lamp shades or anything to allow it to detect movement.

Great bulbs, just what we needed to stop everyone leaving the hall, stairs and landing lights on all the time, they are sensitive enough so they come on as soon as the front door is opened as soon as you enter the house. I am just ordering some more now as I am going to install more for my parents. There are cheaper bulbs out there but I believe that these ones are the best. We have also got one outside in a glass light that is covered enough so that the sensor pick us but, but no rain can get in. Brilliant!

The product works great and as expected. However, keep two points in mind.1. Until its quite dark, it won't work.2. Its only useful for areas where you pass by and don't stay. For example at the house entrance area, stairs, etc.I had put it in the drawing rooms, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. But if you do not move the bulb shuts down and so its not going to serve the purpose in such areas.It doesn't work on the principle of heat as some people suggested but motion. So if you don't move, the build will shut down after 30 seconds.By the way the product also clearly mentions that so full rating therefore.

First the good: The bulb is bright and detects motion always. It's very sensitive.Now the bad: The bulb switches on intermittently or on light reflections of bypassing cars through the tinted door window in the hallway.Sometimes it doesn't switch off again. In this case it needs to be restarted by switching the power off and on.One out of four bulbs is permanently glowing, but turns bright on motion.All in all I wouldn't buy them again, but for now it's a compromise to a better and more expensive solution.

I installed this light bulb in our garage which you enter through the garden. It senses when it is evening, so doesn't waste electricity when it detects motion during the day. It works perfectly so far - as soon as you walk into the garage, the light comes on. The light is in the centre of the garage fitted to the ceiling rose. I got the white light. There are still corners of the garage where it isn't as bright, but it isn't really an issue. I don't know if it would work if the bulb were encased in a housing shade, I think the motion detector (protrusion at the end of the bulb) needs to be clear of obstruction.

Ottimo sensore di movimento a rilevamento a infrarossi. Per ora non ho rilevato alcun falso positivo (accensione random) che invece avevo sperimentato con una lampada diversa. La luce è calda ma non troppo luminosa. Fosse disponibile con un wattaggio di poco superiore (15...20 Watt) sarebbe da 10 stelle!

Ya tenía un par de bombillas de este tipo de otra marca y me funcionaban correctamente en el exterior de la casa; así que me decidí por estas otras porque eran de luz más cálida y así colocarlas en interior en zonas de paso.Llevan colocadas algo más de un mes y su funcionamiento es correcto; se encienden unos 30 segundos cuando hay poca luz ambiental y detectan movimiento y el tipo de luz es más agradable que las de luz fría, al menos para interior.Para que el sensor de movimiento funcione correctamente se han de colocar de forma que este sobresalga por la parte inferior de la lámpara y que no tenga obstáculos al menos en el ángulo de actuación. Si se coloca en una lámpara cerrada, evidentemente el funcionamiento no va a ser correcto.Son muy cómodas y espero que también duraderas; las otras llevan ya dos años y medio y sin problemas.Actualización 12-08-2021: Después de más de un año de uso, siguen funcionando perfectamente.
