Natural Poly Urethane Replacement Watch Band Strap for Casio Mens G-Shock DW-5900 DW-6100 DW-6695 DW-6900 G-6900 GW-M5610 DW-5600E GW-6900

The J1 was a perfect replacement for the bands on my G-Shock Solar DW-6600 and older standard GW-6900. After about 4 years of daily wear, the adjustable straps on both cracked at the adjustment opening. I threw the old GW-6900 in a drawer and just bought a new Dw-6900. 4 yrs later that strap broke at the same spot. These replacements match appearance and fit. The springbars in the kit are garbage. Reuse the originals. The springbar tool in the kit works well. Beware it is sharp and will cut you with the slightest slip. I cut myself replacing both bands and didn’t notice until after. The replacement buckle is square and not as good or heavy as the original. I can’t comment on durability, but the price is right. It’s and easy fix.

Good - Liked the quality of the new band. Seems sturdy and strong. Right size, delivered in time frame stated. Bad - didnt fit my watch. The right band but the location the pins hole in the band was way off from where the pins go into the watch itself. Tried shaving that area down with razor blade and was able to get one piece of band in. Couldn't get the other band to work. Also, new pins that came with new band were slitley shorter and and chunkier. Wouldn't be too disappointed but I did quite a bit of research before the purchase to make sure I got the right one, then fail... and the new band was $14. This is for a gshock watch I wear for work. Needed a new watch and settled for a $20 casio from wal mart. (And Casio makes gshock for those that dont know!)

I ordered the J1. Probably should have gone with the J2 as it looks more original. This one is a flatter black than my watch (though my watch is 5 years old, maybe it's just shiney from use). The band is a little stiff but works well. Comfortable to wear. I will say that it was a bear to install. Where the pin goes thru the strap is slightly different then the original. It may have been easier to shave a tiny bit off with an exactly but I just struggled through and got it on. It's nice that they give you the extra pins and tools. Very good value for the money. Arrived as expected.

The pins that come with the band are smaller than the Casio standard pins. So make sure you save your original pins while taking the old band apart. The Cassio pins barely fit through the opening on the watch band but it will work. Of the three tools they send the one with the small fork is the best. I tried to take the bezel off with the little Phillips screwdriver and it has very soft metal and was pretty much destroyed immediately. Although the watchband itself looks good I think I’ll buy Casio band next time

The product fits very well for my G shock 3230 - DW6900MS, it is quite easy to install, it came with the spare parts of the straps, the straps and the silver tool to install it, but the black tools did not come but I am not interested because I do not need to install the straps, there are the pictures to see better. I highly recommend this product.

Took a few minutes for the pins to stick but after fighting with it I got the pins to fit perfectly. The watchband looks great and is made of quality plastic. Looks just like the original watchband that the watch came with. The watch repair kit that it came with was a huge help. This is the watchband to get.
