Works like a charm!
The BoWrench is an invaluable tool if you're installing hardwood decking like Ipe or Cumaru. I purchased the BW-3 Adjustable Joist Gripper Attachment because I recently installed Cumaru decking over some doubled up joists. Worked like a charm! The BW-3 has a wide range of spacing, so it also works on single joists, triple joists, and possibly even quadruple joists.

More slippy than grippy
I bought this BoWrench accessory to assist installing deck boards over double joists. It worked fairly well, but I would say it is average in its performance. It slipped a lot on the double joists and I often had to wedge a shim between the tool and the joist to make it work properly. With that being said, this is an essential accessory for your BoWrench if you have to work with anything larger than 2" joists. I just wish the design was better.

Awesome tool... Need help though
I have purchased the wrench, adjustable joist gripper, and the two different T&G attachments. The tool is awesome. Have used it on decks and subfloor as well as T&G roofing and ceilings and even walls. It is a time saver indeed. Unfortunately the pin on the joist gripper bent recently and I wasn't sure who to contact to have it replaced. I tried the Cepco website and it took me to a site for Uggs. Can someone let me know? Thank you

BowWrench adaptor
I've had the chance to work with this tool on several hundred feet of deck plank and it is working well. At first it would not grip the joist because of the paint and there were no sharp edges to grip with. Once I took the grinder to it and sharpenned the edges it worked perfectly with no trouble at all.

Worked. Just akward to adjust.
A little akward to use on oversize joists like my rough saw cedar. The regular size is too narrow so I needed this. It bit good one you found a good spot, but had to be adjusted a ton to grab.

It slips and twists!!! #@#$%^&!! ...
It slips and twists!!! #@#$%^&!!! I'm using 4x pressure treated and 2x6 redwood deck boards. Don't wind up in my shoes! Now that I bought one I'm also going to make my own, bigger, stronger, with even more room to prevent knuckle busting. Yeah :(
