Gymnastics Rings with Straps, Calisthenics Wooden Rings (Multi-Size)

I purchased the Double Circle Gymnastics Rings with the 1.25-inch ring size for my home garage gym, and I'm really happy with them! The wooden rings feel solid and comfortable in my hands, and I really like the thicker 1.25-inch grip. They have a nice, natural feel compared to plastic rings, making them enjoyable to use for different bodyweight exercises. The adjustable straps are another great feature. They're easy to set up on my pull-up station, and I can adjust the height depending on the exercise. I especially like how little space they take up while adding so many more workout options to my garage gym.

The quality of rings, straps, and carabiners is far superior to that of other comparable ones. They are more honest about wood grain issues that should be treated with fine sandpaper, which is included in the package. Being in the woodcraft business, I really appreciated that. So far, I have not found or been poked with any splinters at all.

The only reason this one isn’t a five is because I ordered a like new set and I guess they don’t have quality check or something because when I opened the package I got some plastic rings with adjustable straps that were nothing like the product so I just got some new ones. The actual product is actually go though, it feels really safe and secure I love how the rings feel with liquid chalk and the product is awesome. I like how adjusting the straps is pretty easy so I’d give this product a 5/5 if it weren’t for the fact that they probably don’t check their returns. Overall its a great product.

Just got it, so can't speak to durability over time. Holds my entire 230-lb weight with no sign of difficulty. Can't feel any warping or flexing. Finish comfortably smooth with traces of rougher spots. Rubbed my hand vigorously over entire surface looking for anything like a splinter, but none found. You could polish it a bit with fine sandpaper, but I don't see any need -- the less-smooth spots will smooth out with normal handling anyway. Strap workmanship is very good -- neat, tight stitching, seams lined up well. I like the strap design -- I can already see the convenience value over the traditional "slide-through" clip system. Clips are non-magnetic metal, so probably aluminum. I suspect steel would be overkill, since the wood ring is probably the weak point anyway, and they're not meant for pulling buses. They have setscrews so that they can be locked closed -- not something you'd need during a workout, but probably useful if you have to leave them unattended for a little while at a gym or park. Screws can be removed and lost if you don't need them. The ring curvature is just slightly uncomfortable for pulling motion, because hands aren't built to grab that shape, but gymnasts have lived with that for over a century. Ring thickness is comfortable for my hands (if I spread my hand out fully, it's 10 inches from thumb-tip to little-finger-tip), so I'd say get this size unless you have child-hands or genuinely need to practice with the official competition spec. Like any laminated wood product, it should probably be kept away from moisture. As easy as they are to pack up and carry, there's no excuse for leaving them out in the rain.

I added Gymnastic Rings to my exercise routine and I made the right choice with Double Circle. The wooden Rings are well made and very smooth, no sharp edges. The straps are also very well made and with the added number system, they are very easy to adjust. I'm not going to be doing any handstands or Iron Crosses any time soon but for basic exercises I'm very happy with the quality. I highly recommend Double Circle.

Possédant déjà une paire d'anneaux avec sangles, je cherchai une version avec ce type de sangles, très faciles à régler à la même hauteur sur une barre de tractions et garantissant que les anneaux soient au même niveau. Anneaux robustes et plus confortables (moins de risque d'ampoules) que les versions en plastiques ou métal.

It was hard deciding what kind of gymnastics rings to get at first. It took me a good while to decide if this set of gymnastics rings was worth my money, because it’s a little expensive. My fear was that I would spend abt $80 on this set and something goes wrong. I’m really into calisthenics. I’ve been using the gymnastics rings for a few hours now, doing different movements, and applying weights on top of my own body weight. The rings held on nicely. No issues whatsoever. I guess there are two things I didn’t like abt it. 1) There was an unpleasant smell to them. It didn’t bother me at first, but it definitely did later. Had to wash my hands twice. I don’t think it’s a big deal. I can make them smell nicer. 2) I kinda wish there was some kind of gripping material attached to the rings. That would help a lot. Not actually a problem when I was using them, but would definitely help in gripping. Also not a big deal. I can do something abt that. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with them. I’m really excited to keep using them in my calisthenics journey and see where this goes.
