I love this mounting kit.I bought some long traction boards to mount to my roof rack which is an aftermarket extruded aluminum type for my 2018 Toyota 4runner. What I really like about this kit is that it gives you options. You can mount the boards perpendicular to the vehicle or in line. I opted for in line and was Thankful this kit allowed me to do it. Either way, the kit seems very sturdy and I love that the knobs are solid Aluminum mated to good metal bolts. The holes at the end of the bolts are perfect for locks to keep would be thieves at bay. I believe the holes for the locks are 1/4 inch around but make sure you measure before you buy locks for it. Don’t take my word for it.The bolts do stick up a little high so if you have clearance issues in a parking garage or going through a drive-through car wash, etc. you need to be aware of the new height of your vehicle to avoid damage.I noticed that overtime the black anodizing on the knobs has taken on kind of a bronze tone. I think it actually looks kind of good so no complaint from me. I’m not sure if it was supposed to do that but that’s what happens when you live in San Antonio. The sun is harsh.It was very easy to install, and it was inexpensive compared to other so-called bigger brand names. I liked it so much that I ended up purchasing their quick tire deflating kitvery nice products from this manufacturer, and I am looking forward to more of their offerings.

I have been trying to find a way to mount my traction boards without spending a lot of money. When I found these on Amazon I thought they looked good but with the low price probably wouldn’t work but I tried them anyway. So glad I did because they work great. I have rhino bars on my jeep’s roof and a basket that mounts to the bars. These mount work on the basket or on the bars. Easy to install and easy to use.

This is a good product but has some flaws. First off the instructions are very basic and don’t give enough information on the installation. Second off when you do get them mounted the bolts protruded in an angle so you have to pull them over to go through the holes in the track boards. I got mine to work, but it was a bit of a hassle.

I like the design of this style of pin mounts. I read a review that they don't fit maxtrax boards. The flat bar brackets don't fit the 10.5" width of the maxtrax/Actiontrax, but that's okay. I fabricated two flat bars and mounted them to my bed rail. The acorn nut handles center themselves in the mounting holes on the boars and tighten to give some tension on the nuts. I'm hoping they don't back them selves out. If they do, I added cotter pins to make sure I don't lose them. If they do back out, I'll drill some holes further down the shaft of the pin and insert them there. The build quality is decent and the price is reasonable. Over all, I'm happy with them. Right now, I have one pair of boards. These mouning pins have more room to add another two boards.
