I used these duct connectors to connect 2 pieces of plastic hose that connected a mower deck to to a pull behind leaf-vacuum trailer. The 6in hose ends slipped onto the steel connector and I secured them with stainless steel hose clamps. These connectors saved me from having to purchase a new hose. I will get another mowing season out of my old vacuum hose! Saving me nearly sixty dollars, after purchasing the connectors and clamps.
