It makes my silver hair darker
It's better than the alternatives but it's not as effective as I would like. Maybe I should use it more often.

Does work but
The people saying it doesn't work either aren't using it as stated or their hair is predominantly grey in which case this shampoo isn't going to work. The shampoo blends greys within your natural hair colour so they aren't as noticeable. It initially burned and thinned the hair slightly but I then reduced the time I kept it on for which was around 2 mins and the burning sensation went away. The product claims not to dye the skin as it doesn't work like conventional dyes, although it isn't a strong dye and doesn't stain the fingers or sanitary ware, it can over the course of weeks darken the skin. The main component responsible for the affects of this shampoo is an ingredient called 5,6 DHI and this is found in brown and black melanin within the hair and skin. When oxygen interacts with this ingredient it causes a dyeing reaction. If it's going to darken the hair it will also darken the areas of skin as 5,6 DHI is found within both skin and hair pigment, especially if you are of colour and can naturally tan, and the darker u are the more pronounced the affect on the skin is. I've now noticed there are 2 shades off different skin colour, where one part is at least 2 shades darker and it looks a little odd. For this reason I have to give it 3 stars as it does work but it dyes the skin over time as well.

A good product. Not sure if it has made my hair thicker but it does attack the grey.

It does nothing for grey hair.
So after constant complaining from my significant other (I was happy growing old gracefully), I started using just for men's grey reducing shampoo. Slowly, but surely, the grey colour of my hair reduced and people noticed whom i hadnt told. For my second bottle I tried this stuff. The shampoo is pretty much black so I'm thinking this must be the good stuff. I used it but didn't see a change. I decided at that point it probably does the same job but gets a lower review because people expect more from it due to the colour. After about 4 weeks my significant other gave it a damming indictment. She asked if i had stopped using the shampoo because my hair had gone a light grey colour again. It basically doesn't do the job its supposed to.So I've given it 2 stars, that's because as a shampoo it cleans my hair very well. However when it comes to "grey attack" it does barely anything. I've gone back to the just for men's stuff.

Patience is the key
Alps in is a great shampoo, I have two prefered hair washes and this is one of them. I was curious to try this as I have seen a few whites lately. It seems more disguised but not fully gone if that’s what one would expect.

Not great to be honest
I’m not seeing any colour variations and the bottle container is made of hard plastic and not easy to squeeze… can’t be more honest than that
