Light extends good distance into the darkness. Very bright. I really like the cord you can use to hang it with or place on wrist to keep from losing.

stopped working with very little use
I purchased one of these flashlights in 2019, I liked it so I ordered another in 2021. I used them very little but I like to have a flashlight always on hand. I went to use this light the other day , and guess what it didn't work. Okay I changed the batteries and it still won't work! So I believe it is junk, especially if you can't keep it on hand for emergency situations. So beware!

Very Bright "Spot" Beam
Don't let the "Special AA" batteries discourage you from buying this flashlight.Energizer "Industrial EN91" are the same as the LR06 battery and easy to find.This light has a very bright white focused beam without dark spots as well as a halo of dimmer light.While new to me, this light feels substantial in the hand, as a well built piece of equipment should.I'll update if I should find any shortcomings in using this light.
