I had looked at the expensive versions of this costing $80 or more, and figured I could strip my own wires. But 10' up a ladder on my barn, replacing a "lifetime" LED light with the light fading, I said, well unrepeatable things. And came down the ladder, ordered these for only 17 bucks or so, and real Wagos, not the cheap junk Amazon "replacement". The next time I got up there with these and the Wagos and bam! done in like 30 seconds for all 6 wires. If I could kick my self for not getting these 20 years ago, I would. As to why I got this brand, it was the replaceable cutting blades and springs that made the sale, compared to similar ones. For cutting wire, the ones without real cutting blades are just make-believe. These worked great. Also, they were easy to adjust for a little more grip on the wire. Seriously, for a DIY guy not a pro, the convenience factor these gave me was amazing. Some people have commented on how they would be tough to use in a confined space. So is anything else, and you just suck it up use wire-stripping pliers or even a knife if you have to. But then wire in some longer wire to save your temper the next time around!

Very cool design and fun to use. However, not so great at crimping connectors. When used for crimping, the lower quality of the metal and the loose joint cause the grips to flex way too much. Otherwise it is now my go-to stripper.

Over the years, I've had many wire strippers/cutters/crimpers. These are one of the best strippers/cutters/crimpers that I've owned. The features like the backside protection cover and the discarding drop hole make using this tool easier to use. It is easy to adjust the stopper and the tool is easy to use. I would definitely buy this item again and would recommend purchasing this item. Note - I was not compensated in any manner for this review.

Jaws are sharp and it even included a spare set. The flip-out gauge is plastic, but does not drift and works well. I go thru a lot of strippers and this one has become my favorite. Works best on 18awg and smaller wires, and you can strip strip both strands of speaker wire at once.

Feels good in the hands, easy to use and durable. It snips through wire casings with ease. On top of all that it looks good too lol

China made garbage, use the money towards some klien wire strippers instead, don’t waste your time
