This driveway alert works OK. But, be aware that the receiver (inside your home in The U.S.) has the electric tangs in an awkward position. When plugged into a normal 2 plug outlet the receiver blocks use of the unused outlet. The plug tangs are almost centered on the unit - the margins of the receiver prevent use of the upper or lower unused outlet. I'll have to find some sort of pigtail plug to be able to use this unit along with another appliance in the 2nd outlet. REVISION... I noted previously the design issue I have with this system. I was able to find a suitable work-around by adding a 'gang' plug device to the wall jack. THIS REVISION IS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE::: After 9 months or so of use one of the system's sending units failed. Changing batteries and unplugging the receiver hoping that there might be a digital 're-boot' didn't resolve the issue. The sending unit sent an alert every 10 seconds - to the point that we unplugged the whole system rather than go crazy hearing the constant alerts. Contacted Amazon. Learned that the unit had a one year Warranty. Amazon provided contact information. I emailed the Company BITIWEND describing the problem. I received an answer the next morning. BITIWEND stood by their product! No unusual burdens of proof or odd questions. BITIWEND simply said that they were sorry we were having problems and that they would honor their Warranty. The new Driveway Alert System arrived via UPS today. 5 STAR Customer Service. Rare indeed in the world today. Thank you BITIWEND.

Works very well. Nice alert. You can plug it into any outlet in your house.

Four things make this better than previous driveway alarms I've had: 1) It is solidly constructed with all needed attachment hardware including a small screwdirver; 2) The 58 alarm sounds provide everything from single tone melodic sounds to actual orchestrated sounds; 3) Though other driveway alarms need separate receivers, this one with one receiver and two transmitters is very easy to set up different alarm sounds for each transmitter; and 4) The verticle detection angle is15 degrees and the horizontal detection angle is 45 degrees which helps to avoid false small animal alarms. Overall, so far, they do what they're supposed to do. The seller does not gouge you for the price.

I love these driveway alarms it's good to know since I live far off the road when someone's coming down the driveway I have them both installed at different points along the driveway with different sound so I know where someone is in the driveway when they're coming down so it makes me feel more secure here in my home strongly recommend them for anybody looking for driveway alarms My driveway is 600 ft long and their range is perfect

This sensor is extremely sensitive and there is no control for it. I have them sitting on opposing trees along the driveway and there are times that a leaf that falls, is picked up on the sensor. Along with that, cars driving along the road are picked up more than 30 feet away even though it’s only supposed to pickup 20 feet. Because of this, I had to turn the sensors toward the house mostly, although I want to pick up any movement onto my property. Also, the sprinkler system sets it off, so I have to unplug the system several times a week prior. I’m not sure whether I like it or hate it.

I live alone and am pretty recluse. I thought these would offer me some security. These were easy to install for me and they work very well. So far, only cats, raccoons, opossums, and the Amazon deliveryman/deliverywoman have triggered the sensors. But, that's a good thing and I know they work! Definitely good to have!

The driveway alarms work pretty well even at a fairly long distance. However when the buzzer is separated from the sensor by a long way, I can’t have the buzzer indoors. If it’s indoors it will sometimes work and sometimes not. I get a few false alarms but it could be leaves falling or bugs or anything else setting them off. Occasionally even with the buzzer outside it will miss a car pulling in, but there is probably 200 ft between the sensor and the buzzer. Battery life also seems great. Overall I’m pretty happy with these. I deducted one star because it occasionally doesn’t work. I’d say it works 9.5 times out of 10 though.
