Working well so far
This little device is taking the centre speaker channel from my home cinema and dropping it to line level so I can connect it into a large high quality clavinova which is under the TV and has excellent sound quality. I didn't have room for the centre speaker and the piano is exceptionally good as a dialogue speaker. Unusual use case but works really well. Sounds quality is excellent, no notable noise.Only one negative, the speaker wires are very thin, it would have been better to have had a terminal block rather than soldered wires, that said it does the job, and works well.

Does the job, but reliability issues are apparent.
Admittedly, I didn't buy this for the car, it was used for a home cinema system to drop the output for use with some active monitors. The circuit inside seems decent, there are dual transformers to drop the level and match impedence, with a trimmable pot to fine tune the output level. I bought one, and on installation, the right channel had a ton of ground loop hum. Since it was cheap, I ordered a second one while I emailed the seller to ask advice. The second one arrived, and had the exact same issue, but this time in the left channel. Consequently, there are two of these devices now behind my TV, each handling a mono signal each. So far, there have been no additional issues, they're doing the job well, just at half their intended functionality each. The RCA ports are not held particularly strongly on to the board, I wondered if I managed to sever a solder joint on each one while attaching the cables. Not sure, I can't be bothered taking them apart to investigate while they're doing the job I wanted. For under 7 quid each, I'm not sure what I really expected. The wires to attach to the head unit are only a few strands. It's a shame these weren't better quality too.

Excellent for direct recording from guitar amp
Used this to connect the speaker of a guitar amplifier to a mixer for direct recording. (line level aux output) Extremely pleased with the result. Adds no extraneous noise, however a bit of level tweaking was needed not to overload the recording system interface. Note the speaker remains connected to the amp this is just a branch off to the recording system, the output reflects the speaker output. If the amp is turned down nothing comes out of the interface. It's a stereo component but works fine on one channel only. Simply connect one pair of the wires, one black, one red, to the speaker. Great value too.
