Great toy if your kid has any kind of imagination. Yes the initial toy reveal happens only once, but with a little bit of imagination it can be used again and again. My son loved pretending he was a mad scientist in his lab and with the refill pack providing more mist he was playing for hours.

The whole family were watching the potions being added waiting to see the result. Good fun & entertaining

My son insisted on having this for his birthday. Parents don’t be pressured by your kids to pay this obscene amount for something utterly pointless. Literally add a few powders and liquids together, a bit of smoke and that’s it toy comes out and it’s over. Plus it takes four AA batteries which are not supplied when you buy. I don’t normally have a problem with this but when you’ve paid nearly sixty pound for dust and a basic shark toy it just adds to the expense. Spend the money elsewhere on something that can be enjoyed. I swear down my son has not looked at the shark toy to play with since he’s had it. I could have bought something much more exciting and entertaining. Plus the hard plastic waste you get left over with is a nightmare to get rid of and is just wasteful. Wouldn’t even give this a star.

My 4 and 2 year old love this. The first time was fun and scary for them and then they spent hours resetting it and doing it again with other toys.You will need to buy the restock item but just for the liquid that creates steam. But I do wonder if you can just use water?I’m not sure I would of spent 80 quid on this but its discounted to 30 and that’s incredibly worth it. Highly recommend!

Very expensive for what it is. Does what is says it should, but not good value

Keeps the kids entertained.First one purchased leaked the green liquid, second one seems ok.

This comes with two sets of refills for your beastlab and includes a sword for the beast toy which we did not realize until after buying. That was a cool surprise. Good value for money.

I purchased two of these for my two boys (4&6) for Christmas. It was expensive. I was worried and second guessing the purchase as I read through all negative reviews pre Christmas.In the end it was a huge Hit with both boys. We all sat down together and went through the steps and they had a blast. It is NOT single use and you don’t have to buy refill kits to continue to enjoy the toys. The actual lab and the beast are high quality, and I’m not sure why it seems so many people are having issues with them. The boys love playing with the beasts and the labs AFTER the experiment.It’s expensive , but the boys loved it. Great product and high quality. I would take the over the top negative reviews with a grain of salt. Great experience. I would think a more reasonable price tag for the toy would be around 50$ , I bet it would have tempered the parental expectations of a REAL beast being created …

This was incredible. Expensive for a onetime use type of toy but! A great process with easy steps and lots of fun. Kept all different ages entertained 1-72 years old. I suggest using as little light as possible. It makes for a better electric mad scientisttype of light show.
