This has been a great purchase; blasts pepper out quickly (I really like pepper-heavy marinades & seasoning). The adjustment of grind size is fantastic, and gives a very wide variety of textures, and the grind cap is fantastic for if you want to grind an amount, and then pinch to add to food. Really happy with this buy, I use it daily, and it's working very nicely for my needs.

This is an exceptional pepper grinder. We have had multiple different types of grinders over the years and they either get clogged up, stop working, or don’t produce enough ground pepper during use. This one produces a large amount of pepper in a short amount of time with minimal twists, and does not get your counter dirty because there’s a container that collects the ground pepper after you’ve used it, alternatively, you can grind pepper directly into the container and pour that into your dish, measure it from the container. It looks stylish and it’s heavy duty and has some weight to it. A great grinder for the home chef. This would be an excellent housewarming gift.

Tired of struggling with various manual pepper mills because of arthritis/carpal tunnel issues, I was on the hunt for an electric one. After extensive research, I went in a completely different direction and purchased the full sized (not XL) HexMill. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. It's very comfortable to use considering my arthritis/carpal tunnel. Just a few twists produce an amazing amount of ground pepper. The grinding mechanism is phenomenal! The materials this is made of are top of the line from the body to the grinding mechanism. The cup that fits on the business end is a great addition. It allows you to grind directly into it and then dispense exactly the amount you want without grinding over a steaming pot (saving your hands and your mill). The cup is secured with magnets and is held securely for storage but easily removed to dispense pepper. No rubber gaskets to replace. ;-) It also keeps your counters/table/cupboard free of residual pepper. It holds a generous amount of peppercorns. For reference, I filled the reservoir to full capacity using approximately 1/3 of a 7.4oz. bottle of peppercorns. I use a lot of pepper on a daily basis but probably won't have to refill this for at least 3 months. Dialing up the grind you want is easy and options are quite sufficient. Cracked, corse, fine, and everything in between. It fits in my cupboard just fine. Some reviews here have claimed otherwise but I find it fits no differently than a 1L bottle of olive oil. Not an inexpensive item but less costly than others in this range (You know which ones I'm referring to). I expect this to outlive me! Get it! You won't regret it!
