Want to avoid the high price of keys from dealerships?
Purchased this item after being quoted $250 for "smart" key replacement by my local Toyota dealer. So now with the price of the key blank (make sure you get the right one, not the cheapest one!) I can clone my current key for a fraction of the price. A great deal if you have multiple cars in your driveway you can use it on, so really good if you are a Toyota family whose cars fall within the specified age range for the device. Good gift for the amateur Toyota mechanic in your life.
