I bought this based on all the positive reviews and was needing to find something that didn't rely on power or internet. I paid more than what it is advertised for now but still worth it! The night vision I have to say isn't the greatest....but it's okay. I guess I was expecting it to be a little better based on the images I saw but I also have to say that if you live in an area that gets REALLY hot, this little guy can really stand up to heat well over 100 degrees! I forget what the exact temperature is that it says it can go up to, but I do have it in an area where it gets a little bit of shade. The most frustrating thing about the traditional security cameras like I said is that they all want to rely on internet or power so when I happened to come across trail cams I was elated! I do have to say by my own fault (I should have known better) I used the crappy batteries that came with it and they only lasted just over 2 weeks. In fact, when reviewing the images/clips from the SD card I saw that even though they were full when I put them in, they went down to half full after only two days lol. So ya, I should have known not to trust the cheap batteries but thankfully I kept an eye on it and noticed the IR wasn't coming on as much one night, and the second night not at all. The 3rd night I took it down and the issue was the dead batteries. Other than that I am impressed with what it captures. I really recommend this to anyone who is mobile as well, whether that is van life, car camping, rv, etc. bc you can still have a security system without having to worry about the issues I already mentioned. I've never understood even in a regular home how the security cameras that depend on internet and power function when those go out...but that's not for me to figure out. All I have to say that this is a SOLID option and unless you have someone who is looking for it, you can easily find a semi-discreet spot for it. Other than that, it's a deterrent for people who see it's there and may have ill intentions. The daytime images and video are impressive quality in my opinion and as far as the format they are in, I just popped the SD card in my laptop which is a few years old and I had no issue with them playing or showing. Def gonna be buying more! I also likes that this comes with a SD card already in it and programmed. (Make sure to read the directions-it's already inside the trail cam for you!). The setup and directions and simple. Other than the crappy batteries it comes with, this thing is solid and reliable, especially if you are using it for security purposes. I can't recommend it enough!!!!

The BEST inexpensive game camera out there!! I have tried several less than $100 and this one stands out; long battery life, quick response time, clear photos, easy installation and setup, in all, nearly perfect!! I would suggest that they move the SD card slot about 2mm higher so you can get your fingers around it, but a tiny inconvenience for such a perfect game camera. Also, the batteries seem to last a very long time in this camera! I love this item!! The download process is seamless, and this is the best inexpensive piece of equipment that I have purchased!!

Good pictures left out over a year only changed batteries once. Gets a pink picture when batteries are low. Flash range and cover area not that great, trigger speed is ok but it is good for the price

I bought 2 of these camera and they look great and are not bad to set up. I tested one right away and noticed it took no photos in the week I had it up. I was standing in front of it while I was picking it up. No pictures of me. I decided to have them replace it. The replacement came and I both 2 of them up in a remote location. They both worked for the end of the day only and shut down. I emailed support and the have a response that they will send rechargeable lithium batteries. Im waiting for the batteries, but when switched them off and back on they show great for battery strength? I asked support again and got the same canned support even though I replied to their first response. I like them and want them to work. I will try some new batteries in them this weekend, but if that doesn’t fix the issue. I will be contacting amazon for help on getting a refund! If anyone has info that will help, please share. Thx Updated 10-27-23 KJK and Amazon have been very good to respond since I provided my first review. They have provided new batteries. Plus I’m trying them again in the field this week. They work fine in my house with me at 5-20ft. We will see if the new batteries will help. I have 29 trail cameras, 5 different brands. 3 new new brands this year as a trial. I’m thinking it could be a range issue, but we will see. I raised the Stars up from 1 to 2 because the support is much better than I expected. Thx Update: 11-01-23 Cameras are in the field and I did get one set of pictures off of. I think they will work, but I would recommend keeping them closer to the target areas. I don't think they have a very good range day or night. My opinion. Update 08/22/24 These cameras only work the daytime now. Don’t waste your money. The size and design is great, but something in the electronics is all wrong. I have not been rough on these at all. They have been out in the woods less than any other cameras I have.

This is only the second review I have ever written, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality, functionality and ease of use of this camera, I had to share. I got this to use for a short time to see if I could find where the neighbor's 20-30 goats are getting in to our property - every. single. day!! I still haven't found the point of entry, but I've got the general area narrowed down with this camera! It's only a matter of time before my days as a goat herder are over! I also saw a bunny and a deer with the first use, so it's sort of entertaining as well. The pictures are very clear - especially during the day and it's super easy to download to my PC. Very impressed with this camera so far!!

On reading the description of this 36MP 2.7K Mini Game Camera (trail camera) and the reviews for it, I was not sure whether it came with a 32GB memory card or not. The one I received did NOT come with any memory card, which the seller said was the case, so not an issue. It works very well and is suiting my purposes (determining what critters are attacking my wife's gardens). The motion sensitivity seems to be good within about a 50' range, but the width of the detection and photo area is narrower than I expected. On the positive side, it is not overly sensitive - there have been no photo or video false alarms due to wind moving leaves, etc. The photos and videos are not nearly as sharp as expected (using highest quality setting). Other reviewers mentioned rapid battery drain especially with low quality batteries, but I am still using the provided set of 4 batteries after 3 weeks with no appreciable drain seen so far. The owner's manual like most today is not well translated into English, but it is better than most I've dealt with lately. The instructions are not as clear as I would like, but I was able to stumble through the setup without too much difficulty. There are many things I would prefer having been designed differently, but nothing that makes the camera difficult to use. Do bear in mind there is NO wireless connectivity to phone, wifi, or computer. There is a USB-C port that will allow a file manager on phone or computer to access photos or videos without removing the SD memory card, or you can just remove the SD card if you wish to transfer images or view on other devices. I don't recall the description mentioning this, but there is a way to use a small padlock to prevent the camera being opened. However, if you use the strap mounting it's easy enough for the entire camera to be taken (the screw mounting would only require someone having a screwdriver and a couple of minutes to defeat). In all it seems to be a fair price for what you get, and it has satisfied my needs fully. I may even buy one or two more for additional coverage.

The footage appears better once it's on the computer. Nighttime footage is decent. It works great for the price. Sometimes it takes the picture a bit too early or late.

I got this to see what all manner of critter is visiting my porch at night and eating the cat food, great quality and stands up in the rain and heat of Texas summer. Memory card is easy to install and change when you need to review, the internal display is adequate to get the idea of where it is facing, and the menu is easy to understand for setting up the type of action you want to record. Images are really good and the trigger seems to be sensitive enough to catch even a little movement and the versatility of the mounting from the band provided or on a tripod is very helpful. If you need to add a few of these around your property to try and catch that next blurry image of Bigfoot, this should be your go to camera!
