Slim Hidden Proposal Engagement Ring Box, Black with Magnetic Closure

I purchased this Slim Engagement Ring Box to propose to my girlfriend this past weekend. I wanted to ensure that all of my efforts of trying to hide the proposal were still kept a secret until the last possible moment, which is why I opted for a slim engagement box instead of the box provided by the jeweler. This box is certainly slim with both sides (top and bottom) of the box equal in size, making it difficult to differentiate which was the bottom and which was the top - I did not want the ring to fall out. In order to get around this issue, I simply put a small drop of nail polish on the bottom of the box, which adhered to the rubberized surface. This allowed me to quickly know which side was the bottom when I pulled the box out of my pocket. My fiance thought that box was a special touch and never expected the ring to be hidden so well. I know there are other slim boxes out there for quadruple the price, but the budget and quality for this box is just right.

I am always skeptical purchasing an item that isn't Prime Eligible and also has ZERO reviews. I was pretty nervous, but this ring box is amazing. It appears to be just as good as (and nearly identical to) the ones that are double its price. My ring (even with its large double halo) fits beautifully into this box. The box folds down to about the size of a bi-fold wallet. and fits perfectly into the the pockets of jeans, dress paints, coats, etc.

Worked very well for my proposal. My only complaint is that it is very hard to feel which side opens. I stuck a small piece of tape on the side opposite of the opening so I would not have to look at/rotate the box when the time came.

Horrible. Cheap material. The part that holds the ring doesn't even stand up when I open the box. It was basically falling apart

This ring holder fits nicely into an inside jacket pocket leaving no hint on the outside of the jacket that it is there. Perfect for keeping the ring secret until the right moment. One caution: This held a 1ct. north-south pear shaped engagement ring with a slim diamond band perfectly, and I believe it could hold slightly larger, but a massive ring will not inside this slim case.

So I got my box and it was very difficult to tell where to open it as it was bit tight. Therefore,I pulled I guess slightly stronger than one usually would as it was stuck probably bc of its rubber material and heat and packaging .Well, let's just say like 1/3 of the box became unglued and I could see all the paper construction and glue. Any box should not fall apart by trying to merely just open it . My new box purchase is basically rendered damaged and not usable. How can I put my nice ring in something so cheaply made. In addition, I use handcream daily and it leave fingerprints on the box due to its matte rubber making the box look dirty . I do not recommend this box at all if u are looking for a high quality, durable and sturdy box .

The box did not have a snap close so I felt a little wary putting a very important ring in there safely. So much so that I kept the box inside the box it came in to make sure it did not open. I would get this strictly for trying to hide a ring, not for presentation. Any size ring is going to look pretty dwarfed in this box.

This worked awesome! She did not know it was in my pocket. The magnet holding it together is a little strong when your nervous and doesnt have a great way to tell by feel which way its supposed to open without looking at it. Overall great price and worked perfect!
