This is so far the very BEST edge control I have used in my life. I have natural hair with grays that are hard to control. With this product it stays put, even through GA humidity. Love Love Love this edge control gel. Got my hair done literally a week ago and my edges still look nice and crisp. Have not needed a touch up at all. It is very effective, non greasy, and the value is worth every penny. It was also added to help keep my hair down for each braid. The texture of my hair is fabulous. Looking forward to trying out the other products offered.

When I tell you this edge control is the end all be all I mean just that! My daughter and I have two different grades of hair so usually I would need to buy two different kinds of edge control. We have experimented with so many brands for nothing to hold us down all day. The day I gave Bask & Lather a try was the day the experimenting permanently ended. This edge control works wonders for us both. Great texture, smells heavenly, and holds extremely well! At first it left a flaky residue but water is the trick. Wiping the residue before applying more fixed that immediately. For my curl pattern and definition less is more, but for my daughter’s I’ve noticed using a little more product held her edges down longer. I love that the ingredients include castor oil which is known for promoting hair health and growth. I am a forever customer and recommend to others every chance I get, BASK & LATHER edge control is that girl!

Great edge control It does what it says it will do. My hair is natural and hairline can be overly curly, but when I used this product, it laid my edges down. Im very impressed and pleased Will purchase item again.

I have a crazy hair texture it’s thick dry and some more stuff lol but this product does hold my hair in place. If you’re using this on top of other products it will seem greasy but to use it alone it will get the job done. If your hair is on the dry side I suggest using a little hair oil to give your hair some shine. Other than that it smells nice and has a decent hold and the amount you get for the price is decent. I will purchase again

It’s the truth that this product lays down the gray hairs! No complaints at all. I think the best edge control on the market! It’s moisturizing, defines. I would say the price is good! You get what you pay for. I am definitely intrigued with the other products of this company. Thank you!

When I initially purchased this product a few months ago, I felt like it was overrated. However, I recently ran out and had to resort to using another brand to swoop my edges and I must say: the difference is EVIDENT. My edges were not laid long at ALL. This brand however, keeps my edges laid for HOURS. Upon realizing, I immediately came on here and reordered my trusty bask & lather. It does leave a bit of a pink residue after a while, though. Other than that, this brand is PERFECT.

So I wanna love Bask & Lather but it’s not consistent and idk why. When I first got the product for like the first 2 and a half weeks my edges were LAID TO TBE GODS. I mean perfect. Long lasting, no flaking, no white/red residue, water proof, sweat proof. I mean absolutely Chefs Kiss and with little to no effort. But then I got my hair re-done and my hair dresser uses a lot of mouse and gels and oils so usually product is dripping down for the first week or so. This was when I learned it doesn’t mix well with other products but I’m still like that’s cool that’s understandable. I wash my hair and edges and brushes and no matter what I could not get the same hold I was previously getting consistently. One day it’s frizzy and lifted then next day it’s LAID, water proof, sweat proof, even lasted through a 12 hour work shift. I even reached out to the company via instagram and they gave me some tips but nothing I do is working consistently. Clean edges, damp edges (because it’s water activated), clean brush, misting spray, washed hair. Nothing is working. I don’t put my brush in the product only my finger. I store it in a regular temp environment. It’s sealed tight after use every time. I don’t know if it’s me. If my scalp chemistry changed or if the product got older and the hold wore out but it’s the best product ever when all the stars are aligned and it’s a greasy gross crunchy mess when they are not. I recommend it, just know it has its days. Also I have 4C hair and you see how swooped those swoops are. No edge control even comes close to Bask & Lather on it’s good days

This product leaves pink flakes, I was hoping this will be the product for my 4c hair but not. It’s so expensive too

Don't waste your money buying this edge control.It leaves a horrible white cast and does not lay your edges at all.Very disappointed!!!

I thought I had already written a review for this… Love It - it does what it says it will do. No stickiness, no flaking, no drying of the hair, just a lovely shine. The texture is just right light & useable and there’s enough to last a very long time too! Well Done Bask & Lather… I’m impressed! I have Afro/Indian hair so it’s hard to find producers that work for my hair type… usually too greasy, too drying, too wet, flaking or makes hair look dirty! Thank You! 👌🏼👍🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🎊💕💪🏼🤩

Nice colour colour. Does the job but does not last for long as seen advertised. I had to reapply the next day. But still nice and smooth
