IT REALLY WORKS!!!
One day in October 2024 I woke up to my left thumb locking up, clicking and hurting immensely. Researching my issue I believe I have trigger thumb. No, I did not go to physician to be definitely diagnosed. However I decided to purchase product based on research and reviews. I started using Nov. 2, 2024 and its now Jan. 3, 2025 and my thumb doesn't hurt, lock up or click. Information from reviews and internet research suggest that it takes 6-8 weeks to heal a trigger thumb/finger by movement of joint (bending) being immobilized. I am at 8 weeks. I keep it on all the time. I do some physical therapy exercises found on YouTube but honestly only did a few times a week. (These exercises are recommend to do daily or a few times a day.) I set a date for the self treatment of condition. If by this date I am not experiencing any sort of relief I am going to my doctor or walk in clinic. The date is Feb. 2, 2025. I am going to wear this product on my thumb until this date to be sure the healing has had enough time to properly do so. I highly recommend this for trigger thumb. I am confident it would work with trigger finger. The key to my success is always wear on your trigger thumb/finger. I sleep, work, shower, drive and all other daily life activities with this on. Its very easy to use, works very well, and immobilized movement of my thumb to allow the inflammation of tendon to dissipate. There are times like doing any detailed activity like sewing it could allow for some movement with brace on. I am not sewing or allowing myself to do everything I enjoy in life using my hands and fingers/thumbs to their full capacity until after Feb. 2, 2025. YOU MUST WEAR BRACE AT ALL TIMES!!!! I cannot stress this enough. When it comes to sizing some say size down from actual joint measurement. I did so and bought size 8. It was too tight on my thumb and you could visibly see the circulation was being compromised. Two days later I did buy size 9. The size 9 has been on my thumb since Nov. 6, 2024. It's ok that it feels or actually is a bit loose. Be mindful of brace and check it often. If it feels like its falling off slide it down to base of thumb where tendon is inflamed. I did have brace come off while hand washing dishes but noticed immediately and put it back on my thumb. The next time was folding clothes or shaking them out before folding. It flew off my thumb somehow. I heard it hit something (wall or furniture) and didn't see where it hit. It took some looking around the area where I heard the sound before I found it. You do get 3 in a pack so not to worry if you accidentally loose one. I will update post after Feb. 2, 2025 to conclude my recovery experience using this awesome product! UPDATE: It is November 2025 and my thumb works great. My thumb was fully functional like normal around the middle of February 2025. This product worked great for me.

Ring splint for trigger thumb
Product is as described. Works very well for trigger finger. Keeps finger joint straight but can still move other fingers and hand for normal usage. Not cloth, can get wet. Design is what I need for my thumb. Had to go to the dr to make sure it was trigger thumb, then she gave me a shot in the joint. She brought out their boy of ring splints to get me the right size (I have tiny hands). I can only wear the splints at night. The joint still clicks and gets stuck.

These are Great but Not Perfect
I have hEDS which causes Hypermobility (aka painfully double jointed) and have also been struggling with trigger fingers in my ring and pinky fingers. I’ve been wanting metal jewelry splints for a long time but they can be expensive and I never know what size to get so these are a great starter kit for someone dealing with a chronic condition and also as a staple for everyone’s first aid kit for those pesky random injuries. They are sturdy and work well for what they’re designed for. I like that they’re waterproof so I really never have to remove them. They’re also fairly inconspicuous on my skin but it would be nice to see more shades for other skin tones or even fun shades. I find it frustrating that they don’t have the size numbers imprinted on them somewhere. It’s difficult to know what sizes I’m wearing without pulling out the entire set and comparing all the sizes then looking on Amazon to see what sizes the kit includes. Lastly, I wish the kit included smaller sizes or at a minimum the other kit that includes those smaller sizes didn’t take over 3 weeks to get to me in the US. I’ve seen some kits include little foam adhesive strips that you can put in yours for a more custom sizing. Those would be nice too as the two smallest in the larger kit are really big on my pinky and ring finger and I feel like I have very average sized hands. After trying this set, I decided to order a smaller set from another seller to get more reasonable shipping speeds but had to look up this set in my order history to see what sizes I have. I’m currently wearing the two smallest sizes but they move around too much and even fall off frequently. PROS: • Waterproof so they’re great when washing hands, swimming, or in the shower and easy to disinfect. • Sturdy • Affordable • Multiple sizes to choose from • Inconspicuous on paler skin like mine CONS • Not enough sizes included for average woman sized hands, especially the second or third knuckles. • Kit with smaller sizes takes 3 weeks to arrive to US. • Not enough shades for more skin tones and fun shades would be nice. • Sizes are not marked on rings so figuring out which size you are using/need can be difficult.

So happy I found this splint!
I have trigger finger - right ring finger. Causes are repetitive needle work, wood and leather hand craft, horse back riding and full time motorcycle riding. These are the best for support and still able to use my hand in everything I do, other full finger with velcro splints were too limited for my everyday use. I can wash my hands and the splint together for continuous wearability. I do use it a night no more locked up finger or sore hand in the morning. Although stiffness has set in I can open and close my finger and hand. Very comfortable to wear even under my both padded motorcycle and deerskin riding gloves. They are accurate to your ring size.

Sizing is critical
I have a trigger thumb, so I can’t speak to these splints on a finger. Be sure to follow the measurement chart closely. I confused my measurement with the wrong size column, and had to reorder. I was going to send the first ones back however, the shipping cost was more than the purchase price. As it turned out I used the “too large” ones anyway. The proper fit ones would NOT slip over the arthritis bump on my knuckle. As such, I ended up wrapping tape around a portion of the larger splint to keep my thumb from bending. A PITB! It works great at night when sleeping. However, if you need dexterity in your thumb to perform some tasks you will need to remove the splint as the front part of the splint rests on the middle of the thumb pad making many movements impossible; unscrewing a lid for example. I give it 3 stars for night use, but knock off the others due to restriction of hand function. I have found that 3/4” tape wrapped directly around the knuckle works just fine. YMMV Again , if you order some, make sure you use the proper sizing chart since it will cost you more to return than you originally paid.

Finger Splint are the best thing ever!
Very sturdy and easy to wear and my occupational therapist recommended these finger splints and that was the best thing ever they prevent you fingers from getting jammed or bumping to other things 100% worth the price. Do remove them when relaxing. Measure your size of fingers needing the ring on. The color and shape are very comfortable. I use it for trigger finger but can be use for broken and other injuries.

Unobtrusive and effective
I have trigger finger in a pinky. These splints are great. They work, I can wear them for extended periods, and best of all they fit inside gloves so I can still do yardwork. I bought the larger pack with one each of several sizes first to figure out my size. Turns out I'm between a 5 and a 6. So I bought extra packs of these sizes. The 5 fits snugly and is good if I'm working with my hands, but is too snug to leave on for extended periods. The 6 is looser and more comfortable but more likely to come off accidentally if I don't use the silicon spiral thing to adjust tightness (see the product page for an example). Once you figure out the correct size(s), the only disadvantage is that they're easy to misplace. I just bought a second pack of size 6 after a year.

Good Product
These are very comfortable and offer quite a bit of support for my trigger thumb. The only problem is they can slip off without you realizing it. So just be aware when you’re wearing them.
