This was not an exact replacement for the old one despite the numbers being the same. I assumed that because it was quoted as a replacement for my old unit that the old hands would fit. Not so. The old hands were too narrow to fit over the shaft/spindle. Consequently I had to file the holes until they fitted. I give this unit 5 stars as there is nothing else wrong with it. It fitted snuggly and worked perfectly. I look upon the issues above as my own fault and add to my learning.

Easy replacement as the one on my favorite clock had broken
