Leyland Trade - Hardwearing Acrylic Eggshell Paint - Brilliant White - 2.5L

Love this paint . Paint my doors woodwork etc . Dry's really quickly. There is an odour but nothing like when I use gloss. It washes of the paint brush easily and dry's matt which is what I prefer for a finish . Can wipe the surfaces down without it affecting the paintwork . Just use a slightly damp cloth . What is not to like

This product has been used for internal painting of woodwork originally painted with gloss paint. The main reason I chose this paint is the lack of 'paint' smell when it is drying and I don't like glossy white paint. It is easy to use and lasts well as long as the surface to be painted is well prepared (abrasive block is best) but it is easy to leave brushmarks and requires a degree of skill in feathering.

The best paint for the job! My room is bright white with an eggshell finish, just as the paint promises. No chipping. No cracking. And very tough. If you want to paint a room white and have those bright white walls last for a good while then this is the paint for you. It's a bit more expensive than other paints but it's worth every penny. An example of how tough this paint is: I painted over some shelf brackets that were screwed onto the wall. This was a bad idea as I later realised I'd have to take them off the wall to do other things. So I took out the screws and slowly started prying them off the wall. And the paint, now dried, started peeling off the wall with them like wallpaper. I had to use a knife to cut the brackets free. Any other paint would have chipped and cracked but this paint was eager to not let those brackets go. Really tough stuff.

Use it in all my decorating jobs brilliant white, be careful covering old gloss as this effects the drying properties
