Works well for filtering air!
Huge difference when I have new, clean filters.I’m not sure if they’re up to the science they claim, but the air is cleaner and easier to breathe as someone with very, very bad allergies. (Rx meds and allergy shots)

Great flow, no smell, not all that much carbon, but five stars.
Excellent replacement, no smell, very good flow, but also much less carbon content than other replacement brands (pureburg, for instance). These are basically very similar in flow to a plain HEPA filter. They have a very light carbon matrix in front of the filter media. They weigh maybe 1/3 of what the Pureburg carbon filters do.Have run a BlueAir 600 for 10-12 years. Gone through dozens of filters in that time. The factory filters are great. After that I used Pureburg carbon (smoke stop type) for years. The pureburgs have much less airflow than the factory because they have a very heavy carbon matrix. But...you also get ton of carbon filtration.These filters flow much better than the Pureburgs but for sure they will not pull as many odors or VOCS out of the air.It's more or less a linear tradeoff. But these are a good value so...
