The product is good with one drawback
I bought this product few days back and at first the device was not charging at all and it was switching off once the power is shut. I read through some details and doubted that this could be due to the wall adapter I plugged in to the device. My modem's input power is 12V and 1A current. This device needs a 12V 2A wall adapter to charge. So if your modem/router has a 12V 2A adapter, you are good. However, if your adapter is 1A, it would not charge your device to work efficiently and you may have to buy a 12V 2A adapter. If you already bought this device and facing the same issue, check your DTH's power adapter. It is most probbaly a 12V 2A one and you can swap it with your modem's adapter(That's what I did). Overall happy with the product. It would have been better if the product catalog mentioned the charging input specifications. Note: Their customer support is top notch too. I sent them a mail asking for help and they replied within hours asking my contact number and called next day morning.

Good Product valu for money
The product quality is good. Worth the money spent. I am using it with a TP Link router which has a input power requirement of 9V at 0.6A and hence I am getiing an excellent backup of about 12 / 14 hours owing to the low power requirement of my router. I had purchased it at INR 1,500/- and now see the price jump to INR 2,000/-. Also, I would like to point out that many reviews mention that the product does not auto start the router when it starts recharging after it has been fully drained. This is not true. The product auto starts the router, but, in 3 to 4 mins once it starts recharging (i.e., when it gets a little backup to restart). I repeat, THE PRODUCT AUTO STARTS THE ROUTER AFTER 3 to 4 MINS OF STARTING OF RECHARGING. It however does auto start as soon as it starts recharging. If one wishes to start the router as soon as the recharging starts, press the on/off button on the mini UPS and it will start the router instantly. It can be used as a portable power bank. Package comes with two cables and 3 converter pins. No power adapter is provided. Blue LED charging indicators are also present. It takes about 4 to 5 hours for me to charge it to full as I use a low voltage power adapter (9V at 0.6A). If one uses a 12V 2A adapter, the ups will charge faster.

Warranty of no use
To save everyone time, I will summarise my experience as.... PLS DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT Within 6 months of use, it started malfunctioning. During power cuts it doesn't switches automatically and router turns off. This irritates a lot when you have online office meetings and calls get's dropped during power cut since the router fails to automatically switch on UPS power. Logged a complain to Synfo.com who owns the warranty claims. Spent on courier charges to sent the UPS to their office located in Mumbai. Took around 15 days to receive this UPS back after repairing. And congratulations ! After testing back with your router you see the same issue again. Shayad UPS ko waise is waapas pack kaar k return bhej diya. Complained the same again and this was the answer. " Sir, our testing team has thoroughly tested your device and found no issues " Any ways, I still accepted it and started using this defective UPS. Second time, when this UPS completely stopped working, I logged the complain again.. Invested RS200 to courier back again. After waiting for around 15 days, I got below reply. "Sir, your UPS battery is completely dead and this is not covered in warranty" We will return you dead UPS and you can get it repaired from outside. These warranty terms and conditions are no where mentioned when I purchased the product from Amazon. came to know when I raised a claim to repair/ replace dead UPS.

Good Product with uninterrupted Power
Overall I am satisfied with the products. I was little worried before purchasing this As everyone is complaining that router doesn't automatically start when the power resume. (I wonder why it doesn't happened to me) But that's not an big deal. This only happens when the battery completely drains after giving 5-6 hours backup. That I can manage to manually switch on the router as there won't be too frequent 6 hours power cut. For general purpose if you face 2-3 hours power cut than this router's ups won't be a. Issue. Everything is automatic. I haven't tested 6 hours backup as they claim but I have tested upto 3 hours for my Nokia Router (Airtel Extreme). I got uninterrupted power. They didn't gave any charger but since I won't be using my 12v Nokia router charger anywhere (as the power will be delivered by the way Dr.com ups and not the charger) so I used the 12v charger to charge the Dr.com router ups. But if your router is a 9v one, you may need to buy a separate 12v charger. Otherwise no issues charging the Dr.com ups with your router's charger. Update: The UPS gave 5.5 hours of backup for my Airtel (Nokia) Xstream Router. I have tested it since there was no power for over 8 hours. As everybody is complaining it doesn't self start after full battery drain. However this didn't happened to me. There was no power in night and the ups battery was completely drained. In the morning when I woke up I saw the router is on. I guess it might take some time to start automatically. Not sure although but for my case the router automatically started. I will test once again and update.
