The battery fit perfect,,, exact replacement to my Gen 7 Nano.But, don't take on this project unless you are patient and have a steady hand.Removing 8 screws, that make eyeglass screws look gigantic, is easy, but putting them back in is not easy.I began my project just to replace the battery. After botching that up, I ended up replacing the battery, screen and glass. But now I think I have a brand new Gen 7 Nano.For an audiobook listener,,, I'm thrilled.Tentative recommendation... The product is great, but the project is a fun challenge.
