I wanted something different from my usual disposable lighters and found this. This lovely coloured lighter comes beautifully wrapped, so absolutely excellent for a lady’s present and Easter is on the way! It’s the right size with plenty of room to touch your cigarette onto the four electrodes on the tip of the device, to light it easily. It’s so easy to charge with the small USB charger that comes with it, although I have a few of them already. There were already three blue lights on when I received it and I charged it up to four lights in 20 minutes. To see if it’s charged just open the cap where the electrodes are underneath. There’s nothing about it that I don’t like and I will use this for ever. It doesn’t affect me but I don’t suppose it would light a cigar, which would be larger. Give it a try, you will not regret it and you will also be able to light a cigarette when it’s windy.

JJ Lighter, Electric Lighter The advert is very confused - it says you need to fill this with LPG ! What I found was This is a pocket size "dual arc lighter" with sufficient voltage generated to create a stable plasma between 4 electrodes. It gets hot enough to light gas stoves, kindling such as a strip of newspaper or a cigarette - check out my video. One charge certainly lasts a day - and to that add all the times my work colleagues just "had a try" with it to see for themselves. What it can't do is light a pipe, as you have to get the flammable substance in between the arcing electrodes. They can be good for use in the wind as there is no flame to blow about, and for travel by air - the US TSA says "Arc Lighters, Plasma Lighters" are OK for carry on bags with Special Instructions, but not checked Bags. Crucially the TSA writes " Measures must be taken to prevent unintentional activation of the heating element while on board the aircraft. Examples of effective measures to prevent unintentional activation include, but are not limited to: removing the battery from the lighter; placing the lighter into a protective case; and/or using a protective cover, safety latch, or locking device on the lighter's activation button". So make sure that you get a protective case as you can't take out the battery. This comes in a nice presentation box, so is good for gifting. OVERALL - I like this - and would be happy to get it again. Delivery was next day. If this fails inside 2 years I will be back to update my review.

Got it today. Dangerous. I put it on charge and the charging cable got dangerously hot and melted. Good thing I checked it when I did as it was beginning to smoke and catch fire it was only on charge for a very short time. (Minutes. Not hours)

Bought this as a gift for a friend and have herd no complaints only good remarks.
