I have a GE washer/dryer combo with a standard 30A dryer cable, but I only have 1x 50A range outlet in my house. Changed it out with this and now I can use my unit.

Used this to connect a Rivian wall charger to a Nema 14-50 outlet instead of hard wiring. I did lower the voltage to 40 amps with this set up which is fine, we still get 19mph when charging the truck. I stripped the wires, capped the white (not needed) connected black red and green as outlined in the manual and it works like a champ. Honestly it was harder to use the Rivian app to connect it to the wi-fi than it was to hook it up. Solid cord hundreds of mile of happy charging so far.

I got a tesla wall mount charger, but I didn't want it to be hardwired. Since I already have a 14-50 plug available. I like to keep it more flexible, incase I want to move it later on. So I decided to get this 14-50 cord, and attached to the wall mount charger, and plug it into the 14-50 outlet. It worked great!!! One thing do need to be careful, I did cut off the tip, and strip the wire. Once I did that the exposed wires need to be kept together, so it can be inserted into the contact point. I didn't know that in the beginning, I end up made a mess of the wires. Later on I got Ferrule cramping kit, and terminated the wire tips. Made it so much easier to get it interested into the contact point. Just FYI

Exactly what I needed

I used this to wire my wall mount Tesla charger as a plug in instead of hard-wiring. It's been 8 months and absolutely no issues.

I recently ordered a set of these cables for use for charging equipment with a vehicle. Luckily I did not need the ringlets and intending on cutting them off. Had I received the product with the intent on using the pre-installed ringlets I would have been very upset. The cables work as intended without issue and allow the vehicle to charge at the maximum 32amps. The poor quality control on the insulation however defers me from recommend these cables to anyone else.

This worked great, when making up my connections to another type of 4 pin connector. Very good quality.
