This falls over immediately and lasts for about ten minutes.Cats love it, and chased it under a ripple rug, where it popped out of a small hole. That hole held it upright and that’s when the great entertainment began. Now, I simply thread it though a small hole in the ripple mat, and usually it stays and my cat plays for ten minutes….if my older cat is inside, he manages to get it out and then it spins like a top on its side…sill gets their attention, but more difficult to chase.The flop over is immediate, so it just whips,in a circle. It would be nice if the base was more stable.The extra tails have not been needed yet, but the material is soft enough I can see why the extra was included.

The cats went absolutely bananas for this toy. I like that I can set it and forget it, or for more interactive play, hold the plastic base and tease the cats with the wiggling tail. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because my bengal chewed the tail in half within the first 20 minutes of turning it on. Fortunately, it is still enticing for the cats with half a tail, and I can order extras. Even with half a tail, it is worth the money if it can keep my cats occupied for more than 5 minutes!

Our cats LOVE LOVE LOVE the PetCronies Silicone Tail Teaser toy so much, they are literally obsessed with it! They cry, beg and paw at us when it runs out of battery to make it “live” again. They carry it around by the tail and howl when it winds down, I’ve never seen anything like it. They especially love it when it’s on or under a folded paper bag, it wriggles, hides and makes noise, they will play with it for hours, stalking, pouncing and attacking it endlessly! The random movements are really perfect, this toy taps into their primal hunting instinct and keeps their attention. We call it “The Rat,” hahaThere are a few issues, but PetCronies seems very responsive to their customers and willing to make improvements. The tails really need to be improved, the cats chew on them and destroy the ends within a few hours. The pink tails were almost immediately shredded to bits. I do worry about them ingesting bits of silicone, but I think they just like chewing on the tails because I have found all of the bits on the floor. I’ve ordered 3 replacement tail packs already, the half-tails still work but the wriggling effect they like is diminished. They like the uncovered tails much better than the plush, (which don’t have the same movement, they are much heavier and slower.) I really hope PetCronies can improve the tails, as this toy has kept them away from chewing our power cords which is incredibly dangerous.The battery life needs to be much longer, and the charging indicator more accurate. I like that it’s rechargeable, and I just bought a second base toy so we could have one always available while the other is charging. It should have two timers, adding a longer time for supervised play, because the cats love it so much they only stop playing when the timer or battery runs out. This toy is pretty quiet, which I like! (I hope if sounds are eventually added that they are optional because squeaking or chirping sounds get very tedious and since they play with it for so long we wouldn’t want to hear the sound effects for hours!)Overall, we’re so happy that the kitties love this toy so much, and looking forward to improvements and increased safety features. The toy base seems tough and durable and I hope they continue to make quality products and listen to their customers.I was not influenced or paid for this review, the kitties are just really happy with the toy and I can recommend it to keep them busy and out of trouble! Just supervise the tails closely for gnawing activity!

This is a great toy. At first it didn't charge fully, but after it was left on charge for at least 4 hours it did charge fully. Works as described.

This is one of the few toys that can get my cat’s attention. When I’m working and can’t play with them, I need a toy that works on its own.This toy is a lifesaver, but I have a few complaints:1. It automatically shuts off. I don’t like that.2. The cats are constantly chewing the tails off. I can’t leave them 100% unattended for this reason. Basically if I hear the toy stop I look over and usually see the cat trying to eat it.The company was nice enough to send me the felt tails, which doesn’t have the chewing issue, but it’s heavy and doesn’t have the same effect. I’ve also tried putting on a plastic cord protector to see if that helps, but it also weighs it down.I still recommend this toy 100000%. I’ll buy a million tails if I have to.

My cat loves this toy however the whips break easily which is too bad. Maybe needs a better way to attach.

My cat LOVES this toy. When she first comes out to the family room in the morning, she is asking for it...and that continues through the day. She has a history of loving a toy for a day or two and then getting bored...but this one is still a favorite after more than a week! So, even if she gets bored at some point into will go into the toy rotation to be periodically brought back out. In fact, she loves it so much I had to get a second one...which leads to the one of the few negatives. The charge on the toy only lasts for a few 10 minute sessions. The other negative is the easy chew of the silicone tail. Since it is sooo easy to chew into pieces, I appreciate the baby food grade quality of the silicone. However, with a hunter they like to chew when they have captured their prey...which means my girl has already chewed one tail down to nubbins and is working on the second. Fortunately, she doesn't seem to be swallowing the small bits she chews, but I now keep an eye on her while she plays once I realized how easily she could get a chunk off the tail. Even with those negatives...it is a good toy and I have a very happy cat.

A mi gatito le encanta, la batería no dura mucho con uso continuo pero tarda muy poco en cargarse completamente. Es una excelente forma de entretenerlos mientras trabajo.
