I bought this to add an extra layer of protection to my garage, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the result. If you’re looking for something that feels "proper" rather than a flimsy deterrent, this is it. The Build The quality of this Master Lock unit is excellent. It feels incredibly robust and heavy-duty right out of the box. Once it's bolted down, it doesn't budge. It provides a massive amount of physical security and acts as a great visual deterrent for anyone scouting the neighborhood. Installation This is the part you need to know: it is easy to install, but only if you have the right gear. Don’t bother trying this with a standard battery-powered DIY drill. You really need an SDS drill to get deep enough into the concrete floor without burning out your bits. If you have the tools and the confidence to use them, you’ll have this fitted in no time. The fittings are high quality and everything lines up as it should. Daily Use It’s very easy to operate. The locking mechanism is smooth and hasn't shown any signs of sticking. It only takes a second to lock or unlock, so it doesn't become a chore to use every time you leave the house. Verdict A very secure, high-quality bit of kit. It’s worth every penny for the peace of mind. Just make sure you (or a neighbor) have a decent power drill before you start!

Good choice for my garage door security

Simple device only 3 bolts to drill to install. Lock is substantial built giving a more secure garage door.

Piece if mind to secure the garage door. Best on the market.

A good very solid lock.Installation was a bit difficult as it requires drilling an least two 90 mm deep and 16 mm wide holes in solid concrete for the securing bolts.Luckily my old mains powered Black and Decker drill was up to the job.

Good strong item just didn't fit my application correctly

Prodotto nel complesso molto ben fatto. Soprattutto se acquistato ad un lrezzo conveniente (sotto i 100 euro nel mio caso). Alcune recensioni appaiono fuorvianti (due o tre tasselli? Misure 14 o 16 mm della punta trapano?): LEGGETE LE ISTRUZIONI SUL SITO DI MASTERLOCK E NON CI SARANNO DUBBI (citano punte da 10 e 16 mm NON 14 mm)! Un suggerimento pratico spero utile: prendete le misure della staffa (quella che va fissata al pavimento) MA FATELO CON LUCCHETTO MONTATO CON IL PEZZO NERO TUBOLARE! Eviterete il rischio di prendere misura con la staffa (senza aver pr ato con tubolare e lucchetto) e solo dopo accorgervi che il tubolare (montato con suo lucchetto) aderisce troppo alla basculante (ho 2 garage identici ma le misure per fissare la staffa sono risultate DIVERSE).

Es muy fuerte, hasta se ha doblado el portón xq tenía fallo y se abría solo, que es por lo que lo puse. Si el portón va bien, y no se abre sólo ni se fuerza al encontrar un tope (debería parar por seguridad mucho antes de lo que lo hace el mío), no habrá problema. Es un sitio de alquiler, por lo que no podía hacer ninguna instalación compleja ni irreversible. Pero con sólo 2 agujeros en el suelo, con un taladro de uso doméstico, ha sido suficiente para una fijación fortísima. Y es posible retirarlo en el futuro si es necesario, sólo requerirá tapar esos 2 agujeros. Apenas molesta al pasar, por lo que no h generado problemas con los vecinos tampoco, puesto que sobresale del garaje unos 15 cm +-, no más que lo que ocupa cualquier retrovisor, así que es imposible pisarlo al pasar por delante con el coche. No sé si valdrá para exteriores, pero para un garage comunitario va perfecto. Vale cada € de los que cuesta.

Doos ook beschadigd aangekomen. Heel vervelend dit omdat ik m echt morgen had moeten plaatsen maar kan niet aankomen met een “ tweedehands” product Ga hem nu retiurneren en graag een nieuwe a.u.b.. ben benieuwd en hou jullie op de hoogte.
