Fablon FAB11316 67.5 cm x 2 m Matt Roll, White

I have been very impressed with this fablon it was so easy to use and it has stuck down and stayed down. I have used this for the bottom tray of my parrot cage as it was getting rusty and looked very shabby so I was so pleased that this fablon did stick and it gave the cage an instant new look which I am really pleased with.

I really good sized roll, great value. Bought to cover the base of a kitchen cupboard that had been water damaged. The fablon needs a clean and solid surface to stick so I wasn't expecting it to adhere to the bare chipboard particularly well but it gave good adherence to the area around the damage so that the cupboard base is once again sealed and usable. Lots of gridlines on the backing paper made measuring and cutting the right size easy, and application was straightforward as the backing peeled off evenly so that I could remove air bubbles and reposition as I went. Very happy with this product.

This has stuck perfect easy to apply

Fablon is without doubt the best self adhesive decorative vinyl available. We've used it for various things, examples: re-vamping some tired looking cupboard doors and drawer fronts, covering an old bath panel, we stuck some over a stairway bannister handrail that had peeling paint, over a table top, even to stick our house number onto our household rubbish wheelie bins! It can be used for lots of other things too: we always have a spare roll just in case.

I installed this next to my baby's high chair, wipes clean easily and with a bit of patience will stick to a painted wall. Could do with being a bit more sticky but it's ok.

We used this to cover a light oak coloured desk to matt white for my daughter instead of having to buy a new one and the results were great. The measuring guides on the back were really useful and I liked that it could be repositioned if I had done it wrong. Larger sections were not easy but found that gently warming with a hair dryer gave it a little more flexibility and got a smoother finish - also good to pop any bubbles or smooth out any creases. Really pleased with the finish and you would think it's a brand new desk!

Used this to cover a bathroom worktop on which I’d managed to spill something which stained badly. Wasn’t sure how easy it would be to apply or what the result would be but was pleasantly surprised at both. Only tricky bit was cutting round the basin which is inset, but am really pleased with result. Was working with plain white and it looks really clean and smart. As others have said, there is time to reposition if necessary and bubbles can be smoothed out. Will see how long it lasts, but certainly cheaper than replacing the worktop.
