Cannot recommend these enough for senior dogs!!!
These are AMAZING!!! I own a beloved (small for her size) almost fourteen-year-old Caviler King Charles Spaniel. Since suffering two strokes, and with the ailments that come with old age, she had become extremely unsteady on her feet and had very reduced balance. We tried so many "grippy boots", nail covers and various other items to try help her, to no avail. The other grippy boots would fall off, twist around and were too bulky for her to properly be able to feel what her feet were doing. In desperation, we said we would give these a try and they are Incredible! The difference in our little dog's quality of life is remarkable! We just pop these on her back legs and off she goes, able to grip our previously un-navigatable slippy hardwood and tile floors, we are delighted! (word to the wise, most dogs front paws are slightly bigger than their hind paws, so the boots that fit her hind paws were a little tight for her fronts, but fortunately having them on her backs was sufficient) These boots are surprisingly durable, with a pair lasting about 2-3weeks before they get really worn and holey WARNING: DO NOT LEAVE THESE BOOTS ON YOUR PET LONG TERM!!!! We take them off our dog every night and her feet are quite smelly and sweaty from wearing rubber boots all day, but having the night for her feet to breathe has meant that she has had no problems with this. We like to give the boots a little wash with just water and hang them up to air and dry each night. Another major advantage of these boots is the protection they offer while out on walkies, owing to her strokes, our little dog has reduced proprioception, meaning that she will drag her paws while walking, before these boots the tops of her paws would be cut, sore and sometimes bleeding after walking on tarmac/ pavement. Now the boots offer excellent protection from this. Make sure to measure carefully for them though. Cannot recommend these boots enough. they have made a real difference to the quality of our senior dog, and we hope she gets to enjoy them for years to come! TIP: shake in a little talcum powder before putting the boots on, and it greatly reduces the sweaty/smelly paws!

Brilliant
I have an elderly Beagle who has severe problems with her paws. These boots are the perfect solution. They take a little getting used to by both human and dog but after only a few attempts I was able to get the boots on and off with no problem at all. My dog was completely against them at first and just sat looking at me with her paw in the air but once she started walking around she seemed to forget about them. They are re-usable but this well depend on how and where they are used i.e. just going in and out of the garden several times a day one boot lasts us about a week but I would imagine that taking a dog out into the countryside for a long walk may prove quite hard wearing. For hygiene purposes I normally turn the boot inside out and wipe over with disinfectant then allow it to dry. Following the ordering guidelines my Beagle should have been ok with the medium ones but due to that fact that her paws have spread slightly I normally buy the large ones or even the extra large if she has a dressing on her paw. In my opinion these boots are brilliant and I only wish I had discovered them years ago.

a useful idea but not for every situation
these would seem like a brilliant idea in therory. however, i found the boots very difficult to get on, even with the gadget you can buy seperately. impossible if your dog has a plaster or bandage on. i started trying them when she had the bandage off but still needed to keep her foot clean. then i put a baby stretchy sock on and this boot on top when we went out. they only really stayed on for about half an hour. - to get the size to fit my jack russells slim feet, and to stay ON, i noticed they were very tight round her wrist. BUT i did cut a small notch in the rim and this loosened it and seemed to stay o.k. for the length of the walk. so this product isn't ideal but would have its uses with some dogs/situations. in the end i stuck with the baby, stretchy sock, fastened higher up the leg with 'extra strong sticky' elastoplast tape. if she needed to keep the foot dry i used a 'child's swimming sock' (extra small)- cutting the tight ankle off and just using the rubber foot, putting a baby sock over the top of this. the baby sock got wet of course, but the swimming sock kept the foot dry.

Size up in my opinion
The idea is good but I felt they were a little tight and I wasn’t happy to leave these on for long periods

Quality has deteriorated. Do noy buy
Probably bought 150 packs over the last 8 years. Really like the product (see the old review below). But the latest batch is really poor quality, tears when stretched (before it's even over the paw) and never comes back from a walk intact. Really sad to see a great product decline like this. I've tried dozens of protective dog boots and most fall off within 10 minutes. These stay on brilliantly - we probably loose one every week (but only after our spaniel has been careering through the undergrowth). They also get holes occasionally, in which case they have to be binned. But they're pretty robust and you can reuse them time again. The only negative for me is getting them on - the instructions suggest have the dog lie on it's back with it's feet in the air - that just doesn't work for us. It's fiddly, you have to stretch the neck of the boot with 2 fingers and use the remaining fingers to guide the paw into the opening, but with a bit of practice and co-operation from the dog lifting it's paw, it's not too bad.

Stays on, stays dry, and doesn't twist around!!
When my Staffie got a paw injury I looked into ways to protect her foot while out walking. She has a lot of energy and it's impossible to not take her out. I ordered a pair of dog boots from Amazon and also did extensive research into ALL of the brands before buying. The shoes that arrived were adorable but didn't fit and I figured it would be the same story for other boots as well. I then spent a few days trying to make my own out of leather and also felt; but no matter how well they fit at first, the wet roads made them soggy and they'd fall off or move around and my dog would get irritated. So I finally decided to buy Pawz. The reason I hadn't until then was because of all the mixed reviews. But I watched some YoutTube Videos and figured the worst that could happen was I'd send them back. Well, the boots arrived today (I bought a medium for my Staffie mix) and it fit perfectly (I only needed for 1 paw). She didn't try to take it off once during her walk and we went into the wettest grass and muddy fields! She also did a lot of running after her ball and when we got home her paw was dry! I hope this review helps some of you because I exhausted myself trying to find a solution and in the end it was the simple balloon shoe that did the job. I would not recommend this for very long walks over very rough terrain, but for your average dog walk to the park I think it's a great solution. In the winter I will use them on all four paws for ice and salt on the roads. I also think it's great to have these on hand for paw injuries that you want to protect. On dry days I will use the cloth shoes I made, but for wet conditions these are really good.

These are so simple but work!
These are brilliant. My dog had a spinal op 4 months ago and has some lameless in her right paw which means she can scuff the side of it making it sore. These are the solution! Fiddly to put on but I’m sure will get easier with practice but allow her to walk with full allowance of paw movement and protect from scuffing - I actually think it makes her lift her paw higher meaning less scuffs.

good idea, but!
My dog gets inflammed skin on her feet if she goes on the beach and wades through a lot of water. As a spaniel, she loves water. We have tried washing her feet and using barrier wax/creams etc. Despite everything we have tried she still gets the problem and we have had to take her to the vets on several occasions, for anti inflammatory medication and antihistimines etc. I saw these and thought they looked like little balloons for the paws and I could see the logic in them. Once I had actually managed to get the boots on my dog (they were tight around the ankles) she dashed around the garden and pulled them straight off. Everytime I put them back on (on different occasions) she got them straight off. When I put them on her she would look at me as if to say "I am a spaniel, a gun dog, I am not meant to wear these balloons on my paws, how could you make me wear them"! These are a good idea, but they just did not work for my dog.

Good product but avoid Amazon Retour Deals!!!
This is a good product. It fits my dog perfectly and I was ready to buy a second package for my other dog. Unfortunatly I bought the product labeled as 'good as new' from Amazon Retour Deals. It came out of the original packaging and missing half the boots so it ended up being more expensive than buying it new. The product wasn't eligible for return so I got to spend half an hour chatting with a customer service that was very reluctant to fix its own mistakes. So certainly buy the product but avoid Amazon Return Deals like the plague because that is just scamming customers.
