Way more than the usual 1.5A you get with a hard drive. More than the 3Amps you sometimes get with a dock or hard drive.

Idea for sensitive radio equipment.
I bought these as a result of reading a review of them in QST magazine. These were the only switching power supplies tested that had NO AC artifact or other electrical noise, just a pure DC output. This is essential when a power supply is used with sensitive radio equipment.
