Potassium Supplement for Dogs and Cats (3 Pack, Chewable Tablets)

I was debating whether to give this product 5 stars or 4 stars and decided to give 5 because this product was a 'life saver' for my puppy. Izzy had a UTI when we got her which was treated with antibiotics. After treatment, she still continued to leak urine. For 4 months I spent hundreds of dollars on urinalysis, bacterial cultures antibiotics and x-rays. Nothing would stop the leaking. I was to the point that I could no longer afford to spend money at the vet and contacted a rescue to see if someone could take her and commit to continue treatment. I saw this product and decided to give it a try for two weeks before relinquishing Izzy to the rescue. After 1 week, of taking this supplement (and 4 months of dealing with leaking) Izzy has finally stopped leaking urine and will no longer have to go to rescue! I am very happy I found this product and the price is more affordable that the vet visits. The reason I debated on dropping to 4 stars is because of the taste. It states beef and liver flavor, which is Izzy's favorite flavor, but I have a very difficult time getting her to take this twice a day. She just does not like the taste. I have to mix it with wet dog food in order for her to even give it the time of day and she still doesn't care for it with her favorite wet food. A small price to pay in order to keep my girl home though.

Helps prevent Cysteine Crystals in my Doggo's bladder. He was going to have surgery for the stones. The Potassium Citrate (theoretically) helps in the reduction of stone size and formation. He is better after taking for three months. Your Results May Vary. Good luck.

I am not 100% sure that K-Plus helps to minimize the number of UTI for my Moltipoo but since I started to add it to her diet, she has had fewer incidents

This has been working great for my English bulldog who suffers from frequent UTIs and stones. This along with a diet change has kept us from the vets office for the last two months. I am a believer.

I bought this for my 16yr old lab for her leaky bladder and is prone to UTI’s. She has been on it for less than a week and the results are wonderful!! She is also currently on estrogen to help her leaky bladder but she also needed this supplement to help her. I gave a rating of 4 because the tablets can be crumbly. I just put a couple of moisture packets in the bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. I will continue to purchase!

My senior dog recently passed, but these relieved her UTI’s and kept her bladder stones away (in conjunction with Hill’s prescription C/D food) for 5 years. Before the potassium citrate, the prescription food alone had stopped doing the trick. These were given at my amazing vet’s recommendation.

I switched my boxer to K-Plus last year from a similar product and I prefer these, and so does she, but the bottle really needs more fluff because it gets banged up before delivery and the customer ends up with a ton of broken tablets and powder. Other than the breakage, they appear to be doing their job. She eats them just fine and we have not had any bladder crystals or UTIs, which she used to get periodically. They smell like something a dog would enjoy and she has no problem getting them down. They do crumble a bit if you have to break on in half though. She just had bloodwork and a UA, so we will see when I get results back. I will continue to purchase these.

I'm not saying this is a bad product or may not work for your dog, but I have a very picky Yorkie and anyone who has one knows and understands when I say that my Yorkie hates these and will not eat them. I've only ever had Yorkies and all of them were the same way. I wish he would love them, but even while ordering, I had my doubts. I need to find one that he will eat because I'm not about forcing pills if I don't have to.

Our Miniature Schnauzer with recurrent bladder stones likes this product. It appears to be helping to prevent problems. Just order the item 6 weeks before you need it as delivery is quite slow.

My poochon has been having on and off issues with his bladder. Sometimes he's acidic and sometimes he's alkaline. We tried just the cranberry extract and he became too acidic. So far, with these pills his ph balance if perfect. I also started my aussie mix on it as well.

Used a few of these and my pet would eat them like a treat and he is a finicky eater! If your vet advises you to use this type of supplement, this is the one to purchase.

Great product, my dog absolutely loves it. And pills are really really soft, which is great for dogs that can have teeth problems.
